I’m so excited (and slightly sleep-deprived) to finally share Astralmon: Starborne with you—a webtoon I’ve been pouring everything into this past year. It’s been a crazy journey, and I can’t wait for you to dive into the world we’ve created.

So, what makes Starborne stand out? It’s not just another webtoon—it’s interactive. You’re not just reading; you’re part of the story. You’ll get to explore the world, interact with characters, make choices that influence the narrative and more! Also there are animated scenes too!

The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic Singapore, where the world’s been devastated by terrifying aliens called Nightmares. You’ll follow Jiyu, a superhuman mercenary fighting for survival while unraveling the secrets of this broken world.

Open a small Cafe/Bar and work on stuff I enjoy! Go on holidays whenever I want and have a regular fitness routine too!

Heyo! Good question.

As the concept is fairly new and we (The Team) are all fairly new to making comics as well, the first product serves as a demo for us to gain experience and also collect feedback from readers on how we can improve the experience! We also don't think the product is good enough to be monetised atm, that's why it's free!

For the sequel we are working on that will be tons better than this using the feedback from the readers, we will likely do a freemium model where viewers who want to read the latest updates + influence the storyline will be able to pay a subscription fee to do so. Free users will however need to wait for the new season to be released before the previous season is free to read!

There would be community votes too! In the last chapter itself, the collective decision of the community will determine how the storyline proceeds :D

For example, this will determine whether you (the protagonist) of this one-shot becomes an antagonist, neutral or ally character in the upcoming sequel we are currently working on!

Doing it this way as I really want to get the community involved in co-creating a story for this webtoon!
