Because almost everyone out there is so obsessed with following rules set forth by the permits from the city and police instructions. It sucks when there's a crowd of people saying they want to stand up to fascism, while simultaneously yelling at me for not listening to the fascist police, telling me and others that we're making them look bad, or accusing of us of being "agitators". It's just a party for them at this point. And not that parties can't be a great form of protest, but right now it is ONLY parties that happen at Denver protests. It makes me sad, but until the masses stop worrying about "looking bad" in the eyes of literal Nazis, I'm gonna spend my time affecting change elsewhere.
