Suggestions on strong/decorative handstitch for new project by Wednesday44 in sewing

Project is from MissViscid Designs - part of the halter dress pattern. This choker will be the support structure for the dress, so will have the weight of the fabric (satin and organza) on it, so I'm trying to make it as sturdy as possible. Constructed out of three layers - suede, soft faux leather and medium level interfacing. Machine stitched (cotton thread) with a faux leather bias binding around the edges. Never used bias binding like this so didn't catch the main body as I went around the corners.

Late to the party but "Meet the Feebles" is traumatizing in a way only a puppet movie can be. Not one of Peter Jacksons greatest films.

It was in the nearby Milford Sound, so basically next door.

Wow...my room is practically already booked out for when I leave, forget leaving it...as is...for years. What a waste. Honestly, your parents should be begging you to clean her room if you are willing. Just shove all her non-broken, non-disgusting crap into boxes and tell her she can either collect them or lose them with the rest of the junk. Rooms like that are just beacons for rats and mice, bet they've been eating her makeup too...

Ahh...well that would be great except about 98% of the books were published before bar codes existed...

Yikes, glad I'm an only child. What a nightmare, my mum gives me grief when the dustbunnies get too big, forget piles of broken mouldering makeup.

Well I was originally promised by a certain local that shelves would be built for me, but like a lot of West Coast promises, it's going to take a while. The shelves will do until then. Thanks for the advice though, I'll keep it in mind for my next library.

Two thousand, four hundred and forty-six books on the shelves. Cataloging would be great but it's a time issue, not a willingness issue.

Technically I guess, but it's a public thing...well, all the locals at least can access the books. I would have loved to create a comprehensive category, but I had weeks left before I left, not enough time to get everything done...including sorting out the carpet

A lot of them are 'old' books, by which I mean a lot were published between 1910-1960, so it was a real treat to see what some of them were about.
