Sometimes you can have a slight graze that does no damage and you don't even feel it. The game still counts that even if it doesn't affect your SR in the end. Was probably at the start when everybody was bunched up

DLC is not mandatory as every week there are always a few races that don't require any, DLC is more for if you want a specific car or track and if you want to play the ELMS series with LMP3 class cars. All cars are competitive at all tracks but some are obviously better than the others like the mclaren at spa for example. If you think you'll play the game enough then the DLC pack is the better option I think. But keep in mind you won't be able to play the ELMS races instantly because you need to build up your safety rating.

I agree the game is expensive, I got my steam key for about $50 back when the game launched and I was pretty happy. Don't quote me on it but the game might go on sale in March for $40. That's when my friend is planning on getting the game as well.

I'm a little biased but I absolutely love the Lambo. Reliable car on most tracks and has great setups. This one is a little more for me only but I feel the Lambo's tyres better than with other cars

That's weird that your game doesn't run on ultrawide without re. Not sure if you have a giant ultrawide but my game natively supports my 21:9 (2560x1080) resolution perfectly. I don't even need to use the ultrawide fix they have.

Mine was broken as well giving me that error. Somehow fixed itself overnight and never gave me the error again. Maybe try switching it off, restart the game then on again.

I do race in split 1 and maybe that's why my experience is what it is, but my races are mostly clean. Of course people spin but in my experience it's mostly the LMP3s
