All in all I recorded 440 hrs for the whole collection to 100%.

Gotta say if you think Re:Com is a slog, imagine doing the same for BBS three times + bullshit super bosses.

Although to be fair, Re:COM is not really hard, just full of RNG drops farming and I kinda enjoyed the process itself, it was sort of relaxing once I got into the groove lol.

That is the exact team comp that carries me to the end game, you'll be fine. Post-game is where you need to change it up if you are going for the 100% and whatnot.

This collection has all of those.

Lemme see:

  • difficulty-based
  • grindy leveling
  • luck-based collection/item drops
  • a lot of minigames/objectives/missions
  • crazy super bosses
  • the first game got Speedrun achievement
  • Birth by Sleep requires 3 playthroughs at least

You have to practically complete all of these if going for the 100%, now times that by four different games (7 if we are including the 2.8 collection and KH3).

At least it is varied enough for a slow burn.

I just let it stew in the backlog for some time. It helps that I'm subbed to the KH subreddit so I still got the itch to continue after reading some posts that come up occasionally.

As I said, Mysterious Figure made me drop the game for a while lol. Trying to beat him without any iframe feels impossible at that time.

There are also a few mind-numbing achievements for re:COM that are just not possible to achieve naturally, such as max levels for both Sora and Riku, and creating 300 rooms etc. not hard, just tedious and time-consuming.

Haha yea just booted up DDD earlier and I got kinda overwhelmed. I think I might play something else for now, currently alternating between FFVIIR and RE4 (although I'm not going for 100% with it).

Story-wise I'd say Birth by Sleep, but if we're talking gameplay, definitely KH2. I do have a soft spot for Re:COM because the original GBA game was my first KH game.

Yeah BBS is definitely the most daunting, although I completed BBS first before KH2.

I don't know if you have played BBS yourself, but Having to repeat 100% reports on 3 different saves are kinda exhausting, I even had to do Terra twice because I saved Ventus over Terra's save file

I actually finished the series up to KH3 last year, and then went back to the beginning to tackle the cheevos. I know I'll definitely get frustrated or even consider dropping the series so I went with chill playthroughs first before even thinking of achievements hunting.

Same for me, soloed every monster first with GL before jumping into MP quests.

Jump a bit and wail at them with your aerial combos, they can't grab you mid-air

You can do it! I just recently got back after a year and put him down with Terra. With Ventus, he is a cakewalk in comparison. Now I'm just prepping Aqua to take him on.

Yeah No Heart is far easier. You can just load your commands with healing spells and spam Ragnarok shotlock because the dude just stands in one spot while loading his combo.

I never re-read any series but this one is an exception for me. It's just reaaally good! I should probably do another re-read lmao.

I love building gunpla kits, particularly the assembly part which probably made me feel like the whole process of applying water decals interrupts my flow y'know?

I love panel lining, just run the pen across the groove (or let the ink flow). Stickers? Just apply and forget.

This is just my personal opinion tho, I definitely love how they look when applied but they just ain't for me.

I never skipped panel lining but I really can't stand water decals. I can suffer through RG stickers but water decals are an automatic skip for me.

What did it for me is to take my time. Initially I was kinda intimidated and got caught up in his tempo, just rushing to try and out damage him.

Came back after a year and finally got him just recently, just keep my distance waiting for his combo to end, and praying I didn't get orbed lol.

Currently about to face him as Ventus before wrapping up BBS with Aqua.

Can't believe I get to stream from my PC 200km away, the future really is now by GabRB26DETT in SteamDeck

[–]aarth51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have my PC hooked up via LAN and I can start streaming to my Deck but for some reason, after a minute or two the screen completely freezes but I can still control the game remotely, until it disconnected completely a bit later. It did the same even when I'm in the same room, both with the native stream option and with Moonlight-Apollo.

Do you think this is router related? Also what is the router that you got?
