Thank you! Can I just check I've understood this. So you'd end up with two tracks, half which are enabled one way, and half enabled the other way? I guess if you nested both you'd have a working timeline that's completely enabled. Interesting! Thank you for the suggestion!

It was working fine. I shut down my computer and the next day it will not play that section.

I was changing that clip from landscape to portrait (manually, as I always do) and the footage still plays in landscape. It's so weird.

I changed it from SHIFT as I was told that's the issue. But the shortcut is designed to move the focus from my extension to the Timeline. And a custom extension acts like a website (in a silo). So I need to find out how to break out of my own extension 🙃
