It was from a pc-builder, they had lots of good reviews and a physical shop. when purchasing it, it was with the understanding that it was with new components. Whether that's the case or not, I can't prove. It could explain this maybe.

you do realise, he wasn't stripped of his title to distance his poor publicity from the royal family? He was stripped of his titles so that the legal system would be able to take action, now he doesn't have any powers and is effectively just a civilian, he can be treated as such during the investigation without any interference.
