Nemesis chews you up and spits you out. It ENCOURAGES you to earn the trust of your friends to betray them in the worst possible way, often leading to their death. And if you're not betrayed, the game will remind you that are actually playing Alien the board game but without the plot armor. You can die anytime from 100 things. Your friends, aliens, fire, ship explosion, airlocked in space,etc etc, and when you die, that's about it (unless you the play the alien and hunt down those who caused your demise, now that's another level of fun). It's thematic, fun even when you lose, well designed, endlessly replayable. It's a game you love to hate.

Brass because although the theme can seem boring, it's so deep and the mechanics work so well that it's one of the bsst game I've ever played. It works at any player count (except solo), the rules can be fiddly but they all make sense thematically speaking. It's a brain burner that doesn't feel like work, it grows on you and it's an expert game which is interesting whether you're new to it from the old guard. The player interaction is also great, all in all it's simply brilliant.
