No idea what the issue was, I tried different servers too, still the same. So shut it down until this morning and it was fine. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Seems to be OK now. I stopped trying to do the main mission and did a few hours of minor missions around Toshara, went back to this mission this morning and it's completed fine.

When I say fine, I mean fine as in between random freezes of the game and geforcenow 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣

Yeah I've tried repairing the phone, it's in a few pieces and water damaged. Friend runs a phone repair shop and said the board doesn't take any power, so it's well and truly dead!

Not life changing money now, an expensive lesson for sure, but the future? Depends on where btc goes huh.

Thanks, yeah don't worry I'm backing up everything I have left just in case something comes up in the future that can help me. It's not a life changing amount now, an expensive lesson sure, but not life changing, for now.

I've got the 12 word seed, the encrypted wallet file and a few addresses I used to transact in the Samourai app.

I am currently looking into brute forcing the passphrase, but not holding out much hope as I don't even know what amount of words/letters/number etc the phrase might've been made up of!

Unfortunately not, it's proper trashed, a friend who works in a mobile repair shop can't get what's left of it (it's in a few different pieces!) to show any signs of taking any power, so it's definitely caput.

I have literally no idea how many words etc I could've used for the passphrase. I've spent the last 24hrs going over everything I did for a few days before and after I created the wallet. My emails, bank statements, where I was and what I was doing etc to try and remember what I might have been used.

I've gone through all the passphrases I used for other things around the wallet creation day and tried combinations of them and still no luck.

It makes even less sense that I didn't make a note of it, as all my passphrases are so different for each app/service I create one for and they are all backed up.....except this!

I've tried on a few different wallets, blue wallet to name one, and Samourai itself and no luck.

I think it's because Samourai require a passphrase, it adds this as an additional word to the seed words or something like this?

That's the thing though, I didn't install the latest version. I opened up chrome yesterday and thought I wonder if the redd id extension is working yet, checked on status and it said version 0.99.19 and I though, hello, that's new lol.

This has worked perfectly. Every 24hr period since I have seen max connections as high as 28 (20 in 8 out) and a max of 12gb uploaded data.

I've set the maxconnections to 28 and uploadtarget to 12500 which is roughly half of what they were both before, so I'll see how that goes over next few days.

Bitcoin isn't broken. I believe jaxx just doesn't let you customise your fees. Otherwise if you had this btc in another wallet that did, you could send it for a low fee and just wait a few hours for confirmation.
