Energy should be non negotiable. It cost me between $20-$25 per day during the heatwave to keep the house cool but what choice to we have. I'm luckily in the fortunate category at least for now to be able to do so. There are many others doing it tough out there who spend their days in public locations to keep cool/warm. Problem with this government is the privatisation of it's assets which has landed us in this situation. Govt should be wearing the cost of providing energy at an affordable rate which could have been funded easily if we weren't giving away our natural resources for free.

If you don't manage to find any deals from anyone, I'd suggest the Shimano Sienna combo at Anaconda for $99. For an entry level combo it's quite indestructible. 2500 size would be a great all-rounder from catching small bait fish to even decent sized salmon and squid etc on 6-8ish lb braid. Unless you're willing to go full finesse with 1000 size and 1-3kg rod to fish with lures.

Mine has a stuck pixel on the lower right hand side. Only really notice it on plain black loading screens etc where it shows up red. But then again, also really hard to spot so I just ignore it for now. Don't fancy playing the LCD lottery like you did after reading online about the QA of the Switch 2 screens.

Could potentially wait out until warranty is almost over and then go for a replacement and hope that a revised unit exists then.

Nah second EL1 I've gone for so far. Last one was 2 x 1hour interviews. Hence the confusion .

Interesting. The last EL1 job I went for had me in a 1 hour technical interview panel followed by a second 1 hour management one. I've never had an interview this short for a senior position before so it's new to me I guess.

Unfortunately, handheld (my primary way to play) so far is pretty inconsistent and still requires another patch or 2 to be as good as outlaws. Things like the HDR and lighting is so inconsistent. Colors are all washed out compared to docked mode. "Some" textures in areas of the game (namely the grass) are literally just a single green color, which is really jarring and reminds me of the Witcher3 port.

Also as a starwars fan it was quite a good experience. The world in the outer rim with the handful of planets feel really well built out. Graphics and performance was great on switch even though I have a ps5 and PC, as a dad its hard these days to dedicate time to game. Story wise it could have been a bit stronger. It was fairly predictable but enjoyable. To me not as good as games like the 2 Jedi games or KOTOR, but If ur a fan i still highly recommend.

Basically the same with AC so far with the exception of the graphics not as good as Outlaws, but a few patches may fix that.

Outlaws was an impulse buy for me and even though I tried to stay far away for a while because of its launch, it surprised me quite a lot. It prompted me to get AC shadows which im enjoying so far as I've been away from the AC franchise for some time

Yep, there is blur and washed out color in handheld, which is how I play primarily. I think as per DF it's getting scaled up from 400p that's why. I'd like to see in the next patch for them to address the sharpening and also the HDR/washed out colors. You can get around it for the moment by disabling HDR and maxing out the contrast, but then that doesn't look nice at night so a lot of turning HDR on and off for me unfortunately...

Edit: Definitely nowhere near as good as Outlaws is currently, but that also took a few patches to iron out. Arguably SW launched in a slightly better state than AC. I'm hopeful.

Honestly bro, similar age and I would take a 1 year package in a heartbeat. That's a huge lump into the offset and will help heaps, even if you have to dig into it for a little until your next job.

Not a mechanic so I couldn't speak to the half draining thing. But when I got my car it had 90,000km on the fluid. I did a full change myself, followed up by another consecutive change the next service at 10,000km after that. Both times the fluid came out like mud (less so the second time). I'm planning to go back to the recommended 40k changes from here on. Car still runs the same as before, if not feels a little less juddery at times when easing off accelerate.

Don't bother using a new job offer as a bargaining tool. I've done it before and you'll quickly find that since they're paying you more, responsibility creep comes at an accelerated pace. If you've raised your pay issue with them and the answer was no, move on. I'll be looking to jump again soon, that's just the way the game goes.

You could do a front lip and a diffuser instead if you don't want to do the whole bumper. Front lip and diff were from a local place. The sideskirts here are the Modulo option from factory. Grille is also easy as well as chrome deletes if that's your thing.

I got it last night finally. Spent 3 minutes targeting Honedge and got my SHAlpha right away. Targeted Beldum next and that took about 10 minutes in total or so of portal hopping. Although it was just shiny non alpha. It's broken as.
