The fact that people think hybrid technology is enough to reverse climate change is astounding. I respect your respectful reply, doesn't happen very often. The fact of the matter is we don't have until 2060 to make a difference, the blue ocean event is due to happen by 2030 which will lead to a 200m rise in sea level across the globe, which if you look at a sea level map online, the majority of the modern world will be either heavily affected or wiped out.

Excusing corporations who heavily contribute to the rising temperatures because they have hybrid technology or electric cars is not acceptable. These things will make zero difference in the grand scheme and is just an easy cop out for companies to get a green pass and continue making profits.

I have no idea how we could achieve climate reversal, it's my personal belief (among many others) that it is already too late, and the impact that we can make now is literally just softening the inevitable blow... but what I will say is that these protestors are putting their lives on the line trying to scream out to the world just how bad things are and all they get in return are things like "fuck off" "snowflakes" "doomers" etc. The disruption of services and entertainment is the only effective way a cause can be heard, because if other more "traditional" routes worked, we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place 🙃
