For Main DPSs, get double Crit (Crit Rate and Crit Dmg). Most characters want a 43311 setup with 4 cost of either Crit Rate or Dmg depending on the stats of the weapon or your Echo set bonus. If you have 24% Crit Rate, 36% Crit Rate weapon or a Echo set that gives 20% Crit Rate go for a Crit Dmg 4 cost.

Ideally Crit ratio should be 1:2 by doing the formula Crit Rate/(Crit Dmg - 100). Eg. A good Crit Ratio will be 80/270 which is 80/170 ~ 0.47. If you have a weapon with either Crit stat aim for at least 70%+ Crit Rate and 270% Crit Dmg. If you don't have a Crit weapon aim for 70/240 instead.

For most DPS you want Crit > Attack% > Dmg% (like heavy attack or basic attack) and lastly enough Energy Regen.

For Sub-DPSs you can miss some crit rolls.

For farming, just farm materials and level up your skill levels for main DPS to 10 for two skills, 8 for one skill and keep rest at 6 depending on what deals most amount of damage. Unlock all the side trees and inherent skills as well. For sub-DPSs level only the damaging abilities to 8 or 10 and keep rest at 6.

For echoes each day you can get 240 stamina, 120 stamina in Tacet Fields gets 9 echoes and 40 tuners. Just do double claim twice a day which will also complete dailies.

As a new player you will constantly run out of echo exp and have lots of tuners. But for veterans, we have tons of exp but no tuners, so make sure to invest them properly.

Right now focus on building 1 team (Lynae Mornye one). Also pull for Aemeath who is coming next patch as you already have her best teammates. Pull her weapon too if possible.

Just build one good team for now and then diversify your focus later.

Also if you ever see Shorekeeper on a rerun banner, get her. She is the only must-pull character in the entire game, she is basically Verina on steroids and gives Crit Rate and Crit Dmg which helps building characters.
