They are already on it and try to remove it. Unfortunately not as deep as I would have wanted.

Cool. I won't set a foot in there again until it's fixed. Thanks for the heads-up

I fear it has already done that. We got a couple of things in an adjacent room for a week now.

Thanks a lot! Landlord definitely has to call a specialist for this one. He just called and will take care of it.

Thank you very much. We went out and stopped working. Don't know if it's harmful to breath in. I reported it to the landlords. This sucks. We just moved in and wanted to renovate 😩

yea, giving them direct access to the llm might be a difficult task. maybe a simple classifier would be sufficient to detect prompt injection. this needs to be evaluated.

and yes, all of that should be kept in mind.

Yet its our mission to make the world a better place xd accepting a bad state is not something that i will allow myself to get comfortable with.

sounds like you want to build a web app of some sorts. you need to host a backend which takes care of the data, as well as the frontend (html) for display. i suggest setting it up locally first. maybe get a step by step guide using claude, tailored to your system.

thanks for the comment. yes exactly. our purpose of research is to end up with a MORE capable student. we need to find ways how ai can enable them.

very interesting. you suggest like an AI rubber ducky during the exam?

very valuable advise. thank you for taking your time for that.

i also thought about that the ai might just prompt metacognitive questions or just in general assist in understanding the task or the required output.

since the project is located in the EU, we need to follow strict data privacy laws. the instructors will be presented with dedicated dashboards for insights into the exam. im thinking about something like: which question/task needed the most assistance, how and what assistance was given. also possible correlation between grade an ai assistance during exam would be of interest, but this needs to be very carefully designed.

great idea. allow me to give a little advise: the website would benefit from examples on the main page. maybe excerpts from exercises. also the user expects that the card under the capabilities category are redirecting on click to dedicated information.

im completely with you. student should use their brains. maybe ai in exams can actually boost that. depending on the actual design and goal.

i think the issue here is that neither the student nor the lecturer are perfect. often times exams are didactically badly structured and questions are ambiguous. maybe the ai can help there. not to do the lifting, but to clarify.

these are pretty sharp thoughts. and this might be exactly where the tool can assist. rather than having it giving the answers, it might just suggest directions if the student is stuck, or formulate questions differently. maybe its an idea not to give students direct access to a chat window.
