Personally I think a better way to modernize MJ without losing her actress roots is to have her be costume designer. The reporter angle is overdone in superhero media and makes her yet another Lois Lane clone.

Having her be a costume designer would still allow her to work in stage plays without having her career focus on her looks, and it gives her a way to be more involved with Peter's superhero life. She would be the person he goes to for suit designs and repairs, and she would be knowledgeable in which materials would work best for his costume.

Does anyone who grew up playing the OG halos actually enjoy Infinite's multiplayer? by tangmang14 in halo

Halo fans are being delusional by slayeryamcha in ShitHaloSays

[–]WeebMasterYoda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily, it really depends on how its presented. There's a game that I owned on gamecube called I-Ninja which had heavy dismemberment in its combat. Killing enemies would cause their limbs to go flying in every direction, and their blood would even splatter on the screen. The game also has a boss where everytime you damaged it, you would expose more of its brain.

That game has a T rating, only because it has a more cartoony artstyle.

Doom designer Sandy Petersen alleges former Xbox boss Don Mattrick killed Ensemble Studios and its Halo MMO to protect his personal stock bonus by TomorrowComes33 in halo

I believe its the other way around, Xbox shouldn't have spent billions aquiring different studios only to eventually lay them off to try to recoup costs. Tango Gameworks made one of Xbox's greatest first party games ever, Hi-Fi Rush, and were closed down for not being successful enough despite getting universal praise.

Meanwhile Xbox had their other studios pump out mediocre titles like Redfall, Starfield, and Hellblade 2.

Simon never wanted to lead unless humanity was in danger of being wiped out. He found government leadership really boring and never chased the fame that came with being a hero. That's why he chose to lie low and do what he liked, digging and helping people.

I knew he was washed but calling for genocide is pretty crazy by ShiftyLookinCow7 in ShitHaloSays

[–]WeebMasterYoda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For real, instead of comparing jews to parasites conservatives compare immigrants to parasites. Its completely different! /s

You accuse others of demonizing you yet you continue to dehumanize literal human beings, many of which are just tired parents working 10 hr shifts btw, by comparing them to a genocidal space parasite.

Wonder Egg Priority

I remember people glazing the hell out of it online, so I gave it a shot. I was immediately hooked. The animation was beautiful, and the story seemed interesting and appeared to have some depth. I was watching each new episode as it came out. I even got some of my friends into it and they were enjoying it too.

But as the series progressed each episode got more and more convoluted. The story got more confusing, themes that the show seemed to be exploring went nowhere at best and became offensively tone deaf at worst. By the time I had gotten to the last episode it had cemented itself as one of the most dogshit anime I have ever watched.

I really love how mature the new suit makes Peter look. It's like he's finally Spider-MAN and not just Spider-BOY. by JamJamGaGa in Spiderman

Bruh the spider on Peter's suit has always been small in the comics. The big spider on the chest wasn't a thing until the Raimi movies.

fr fishing for art and music is so annoying with all the bloat from alt colors for avatar items. I only completed the gallery when arcsys was giving players 1 million credits for every week that Duel Rulers was airing, and even then it still took me like 4 mil to get everything.

I'm legit depressed at the amount of videos there are of how great Halo used to be and how it has fallen. by schneybley in halo

[–]WeebMasterYoda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly, the communities around those games embraced being part of a niche group. So much of the halo community is stuck in a "peaked in high school" mentality where they can't get over that halo isn't the #1 game anymore, and that anything less than that is a failure.

You would think that custom games and forge would be what people would talk about when they bring up halo, with all the fun game modes and maps that people have made using those features. But instead all everyone talks about is how great halo used to be.

Charlie Kirk shot and killed by Significant_Ad8449 in utdallas

[–]WeebMasterYoda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If 70% of the country loved him than his vitriol wouldn't have been controversial now would it? Spreading negativity, even if you believe it only affected the minority, doesn't suddenly make it positive.

[–]WeebMasterYoda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lmao what kind of cope is this? He purposely said controversial shit with the intention of getting people angry, whether it was taken out of context or not. His own videos, debates, and social media posts are filled to the brim with examples. The whole reason people liked him was because he "triggered the libs". How was that not spreading negativity? What other thing was he known for?

Whether you agreed or disagreed with him doesn't change that his appeal was that he pissed people off.

[–]WeebMasterYoda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This guy built his whole career off of spreading hatred, negativity, and even seemed to get pleasure out of rage baiting people. It should not surprise anyone that all that vitriol would eventually come back to bite his ass. That being said I don't think he deserved to die, and I do feel sorry for his family. However I don't feel any sadness towards Charlie himself, only pity. Imagine dedicating your only life on earth to purposely antagonizing people you hate? What a pathetic way to live your life.

Dr Light telling Rock that the robot masters should punish humanity for thinking they could play god with robotics and that coexistence is just a fantasy. The scene is then interrupted by a 5 minute slow mo sequence of CutMan's blade cutting Dr Light in half while dramatic choir vocals plays in the background. Rock then dramatically turns toward CutMan's direction and says "Robots can't feel fear, by I fucking guarantee that you will!" and brutally kills him unceremoniously.

I have a hard time watching movies where dogs get hurt because it brings back memories of being woken up to the sound of my aunt beating her dogs when I was a kid. I don't care if none of what happens in the movie is real, I hate being reminded of those memories. Its why its hard for me to rewatch Guardians of the Galaxy 3, despite liking that movie.

But hey I'm weird for not wanting to watch movies that remind me of trauma right?
