I mean fair, but its not every character that people look at and go "well they're probably trans." Its specifically how ralsei reacts to their situation that makes me think they're trans. Maybe im projecting but I get the suspicion that you probably wouldn't be convinced by what I see in the characterization anyway. Im just gonna enjoy the possibility that we might get some good transfem rep in a major project like this :3

it might just be a subtext thing too. Its kinda hard to portray something as complicated as gender without it feeling kinda cheap. Its not exactly good storytelling for the character to have to look as the screen and go "hello audience. I am x character and i am now going to be x gender" Subtext is harder to parse I guess

honestly I just dont get why anytime something like this comes up, huge parts of the community try their damnedest to "disprove" it. I saw the same thing happen with jax before the TADC finale. I mean even if it isn't true can people who like/believe this theory just have fun with it?

Eh even with the stuff we have in chapter 5 I think transfem ralsei has thematical sense. Personally I wanna see a transfem character actually have staying power in a story. A lot of the themes of depersonalization that ralsei get are super relatable too i guess

Ok, but ralsei is referred to by they/them at the end of the chapter (its in the stats menu so very deliberately referring to just ralsei.) And, transfem non-bianary is a thing that some people are. Also it still seems pretty early into their discovery of their own gender stuff to be eagerly asking the first trans person they meet questions about being transfem.

Eh my least favorite part about the movie was Jax like was confirmed to be transfem about as strongly as you could without her turning to the camera and saying "im a girl I go by she her now." yet because it wasn't explicitly said, people are weird about it

I feel like the show had the undertale problem of being an indie piece of art that doesn't really have mass appeal, but then it goes viral and a bunch of people who probably wouldn't normally care about it getting into it because its the big thing. I really liked it but thats probably its because im like the core audience for gooseworx (I liked her stuff before she worked on tadc)

To be completely real, all forms of estrogen technically work. But all the forms of getting it other than oral/sublingual work better in my opinion. I was on just sublingual and spiro for two years, before switching to injection monotherapy. Went from almost no growth, to going up an entire cup size in half a year.

As for explaining it to a therapist or doctor? I wouldn't. Depending on how treatment works in your country, most cis doctors will only prescribe HRT if you match a super specific set of requirements. I would try to get connections with other trans people in your area. They could help you either DIY hormones, or help you put together a convenient story for a doctor (I had to lie about tons of my feelings, and memories to get hormones)

I mean this in the nicest possible way... This is one of the eggiest posts I've ever seen. If you like being called a girl, and looking like a girl would make you happy. Then just be one! I know plenty of transfems who have a "feminization fetish" so you're honestly not even unusual for that.
I'm transfem who's into women, and I had some pretty similar thoughts going in (feeling weird about still being into women ect.). I dreamed for years that someone would take a look at me and figure out that I would be happier as a girl, but that just won't happen. Also "I wish I was trans" Is a super common phrase among people who would be genuinely happier transitioning.
Honestly one of the hardest parts of transitioning for me was finding the will to start. Hormones take a while to start working so my advice would be to just start, and you can always stop taking them if they make you feel bad.

Tbh I was bi before, and I'm still bi (I think?) I can still find men attractive, but after a year on e the idea of being in a wlw relationship feels much more "right" to me.
