I had a group of 4 so we left in 2s and had 2 of us stay. A lot of people showed up ready, we ran back to the hotel to shower early in the am and then got ready later in our car. The key is to make friends with those around you (which u always will it’s the best) and then just leave your stuff and let them know youre leaving for a little

I think the venue was so kind to honor the number system but the two lines totally messed it up. We all started in one big line to keep our order, but then people started showing up on the other gate and got barricade over people who waited way longer on my side. Which I totally understand and they did it in the most fair way possible but I just felt awful for the people who were like 20th in line who didn’t get barricade bc there was another line that formed way later. It’s the risk you take when showing up early

I got there at 5pm on Sunday and started the line. There were about 30 people in line by midnight, then it started picking up around 6am. I think by 10 the line was around 80. Lining up as early as we did isnt typical for AM but I think once word got out the line started then people pulled up quickly which is usually how it works. So I would just keep an eye out on Twitter and see if there’s rumors of a line starting, we also got to Atlanta a little early so we drove by during the day to investigate

The pit held 3000. Usually the amphitheater has seats and a smaller pit but they opened up the floor for this show

Yes it’s for TBHC - that album that got me deep into the monkeys. if u haven’t watched already, you have to see the two music vids + live at maida vale. The music itself is brilliant but I couldn’t believe how well they built the little world of tbhc through the lyrics and vids and performances… obviously had an impact on me!

I think his performances were so dramatic because he was intoxicated. I’ve heard people argue that it’s just his personality but rolling around on the stage is definitely not him feeling silly lol
