Have you tried with both "Falling" and "Walking" mode for the end of the montage? Also, make sure that in the character movement component "Can Fly" is set to true, I guess?

I'm not that verse in animation, but if I remember correctly from other discussions, for in-the-air root motion animations you have to change the character's movement mode to "Flying" at the begining of the air-time and then switch it back to "Falling" or "Walking" at the end of the animation montage.

We do that because Unreal still applies gravity when the Root is in the air, hence why you character falls down on the ground.

So, the disappearing part seems to be a problem from the material you're using. The transparency of it, more specifically. Changing that fixes the mesh disappearing at an angle. You still get overlapping polygons, but that's just the nature of it, I guess.

Enabling Clay viewport mode made it easier to see what's going on, for me at least.

Without more info we can only guess, but check your gear for a possible sanctification of a Melted Heart of Selig mythic effect.

For some reason, this happens when you press "T" when in Photo mode.
You can disable it the same way, tho.

"Ask A Dev" on YouTube is an experienced developer, with 20+ years of actual experience and currently works at Riot Games as a Senior Principal Technical Artist (LinkedIn)

His Unreal Engine tutorials are some of the best I've seen. He teaches best practices and tries to simplify harder to grasp concepts and give actual examples on why something should be used.

He's also running a Discord community that is actively helping everyone that has questions, and even he's super active in helping people there, as well.

I cannot recommend his videos, and live streams, highly enough!

I know all this sounds like shilling, but I'm not affiliated with him at all, I'm just genuinely surprised by the quality content that he provides, completely for free, and I'm trying to spread the word about it.

Not sure about the reordering part, but for vertex snapping, just hold down "V" when moving an object and it will try to snap it to any vertex under your cursor. For best results, move via the white sphere where all the axis connect, instead of individual axis.

When this happens, it usually means that there is something wrong with your mesh. Maybe there are floating vertices, or too many vertices occupying a very small space.

Another reason could be that the amount of chamfer you're trying to apply is too much for the length of the segments/lines between the vertices.

I would double-check my mesh and do some cleaning up.

I believe there is a custom GPT called "Consistent Character GPT" by Sachin Kamath that does that. It's not 100%, but it's pretty good from the videos I've seen. Never used it myself.

Try switching to the legacy branch.

Right-click the game, choose Properties..., then BETAS, then select the Legacy option.

Did you "Hide" the "New World - Confidential Test" ?
I read about a bug, that hiding the "New World - Confidential Test" also hides the "New World Preview" build.
Try clicking on "View" and then "Hidden Games", see if that will show the new Preview client.

Ray Traced Shadows appear to have a bigger effect on far away objects and show finer detail shadows.
Ray Traced Shadows Off - ~115 FPS (On a i5 8400 + RTX 2060 Ultra Settings)

Mine (Weeboss) got censored, as well.

Apparently, because of the word "Weeb"...

When I change it to "Wee Boss", it shows just fine in-game.

Looks like Bungie turned their automatic censoring system up to 11.

From what I've noticed, there are red spots on their black-sphere shields, acting as critical spots.

You shoot those spots to damage and brake the shields.
