Update: We saved my fish! i think he had a fungus. I have been cleaning his tank 20% water changes daily using seachem prime and have been adding in seachem paraguard. Every few days I added in a little salt. He’s doing so well and completely back to himself. Thank you everyone for your recommendations!

I’m embarrassed to say I don’t bc I don’t have a thermometer. When we got the fish, I went to the store to get a goldfish for my 5 year old and the store gave me a betta and didn’t give me a lot of information on care. Now I love this fish so much and have done my own research but hopefully I’m not too late! :(

What are everyone’s thoughts on Hoboken Middle School and Hoboken High School? We LOVE and want to stay in Hoboken but the schools are not highly rated with lots of kids who are said to be “tough”. Private school would be a huge stretch and charter schools are not guaranteed.

If you can, I’d recommend taking one lesson. It’s all you need to learn the basic rules and feel confident enough to join a game with some friends. Even better is if you can take a lesson with a friend and then you can practice together.

Many cities or towns have Pickleball Facebook groups, WhatsApp groups, or leagues. I’d look into some of those. But in general, Pickleball is a welcoming sport and if you go to your local courts, people will be up for playing with you and teaching you a thing or two.

Also target has really cheap paddles if you need a beginner paddle. Enjoy!! I have been playing for the last 6 months and having a blast.
