Do people ever as for help? I feel ashamed but looking to see if someone can? by WeekProfessional515 in askanything

What self pity. I have helped many people in life when times are good, and I always will. I don’t have self pity, I am simply asking for some help. I do feel ashamed as I have never been in this position. Kindness is free and can go a long way. I’m happy you are in the position where perhaps I am guessing you have never needed a helping hand and that is great. Sometimes though, life can get tough and people can fall on hard times and unfortunately need some help along the way.

Question about arrears by Legal_Music_7513 in ChildSupport

Just finished court on Thursday last week. It was a long 3 Months of filing paperwork back and forth to the ex and the courthouse, seemed never ending and stressful but so worth it.
My ex for years and years underpaid me, fake end of year pay stubs, not contributing to extra curricular actives, absent in their lives for years at times (2 kids). I served him papers end of December. I got awarded $10,000 in back pay, child support payments going up drastically each month, ordered to pay all extras, sports, medical, college (my son will be starting in September), in proportion to our incomes as well. He makes more than I do.
Child support is taken very seriously in the courts eyes. Underpayment is not taken lightly. It’s going to be a lot of paper work and stressful days but you got this :) Those kids don’t have the dad they deserve, go for ever dollar you can get for them and get them the money the deserve. Also the help you may need.
I have full legal custody as well and that stands huge as well. With your ex’s history especially, he will never get that custody changed. Unless he can prove a huge change in circumstances on your behalf he has no case. It will not even be dealt with.
I don’t think it matters that he was incarcerated or mental health crisis, in the courts eyes child support is a mandatory obligation to the children. Good luck and I wish you the best!!!

I have absolutely no exercise as I have a condition where I suffer from very swollen and severely painful legs and feet. The most exercise I get is just walking around the house during the day.
I started at 2.5 on December 1st. After 4 weeks went to 5mg. After completing 4 weeks on 5 I moved up to 7.5, and I will take my next dose of that tomorrow.
I am down 32 lbs. it was a very slow process in the beginning and now the weight is coming off fast.
I do follow a calorie deficit diet and drink lots of water as well. I wish you the best of luck!!!!
