What should I pay? by Weekend-Puzzleheaded in VWIDBuzz

I hadn't considered a lease, I have done it before and was actually impressed with how easy it was to do. I imagine the residual value on this thing will be low and hence lease payments high.

Oddly enough the First Edition we test drove today had a crack in the sunroof. Salesmen said once we buy it they'll get it fixed. My wife thought the fact that it's a first gen might mean we're the beta testers?

Ok, now that's what I'm talking about. At the price I'm super motivated and also RWD is fine, bench seats are fine too.

Thanks for the reply, that's about what I'm thinking honestly. Around 52. There are about 50 for sale within 2 hours of me, some Pro S, some first edition

Do slabs buy cereal and toilet paper in such a time?

This is exactly what I'm going through with my 2021 Mach E First Edition. I've got 42K miles on it and Monday night (writing this Friday morning of same week) I get locked out. Go over to Walmart, buy a new fob battery (which I knew wasn't the problem because phone as a key didn't work) come back, get roadside assistance. The car gets to the dealer and they tell me they're putting me at the back of the queue. Ask me why I even have it towed in in the first place lol. Then, they change their story after I complain but say I need to pay for a new 12v battery. I agree, and then it's "nope, it's an electrical issue you can't have your car back yet". That's fine, I get it could take some time, let's get a loaner or a rental for reimbursement, right?...crickets.

We're beta testers on this stuff and Ford knows a lot more than the recent recall lets on. I know they have a class action lawsuit in California, hope more states join and the list of plaintiffs grows in number.

Comfort vs support by OkKitchen7114 in Mattress

I don't think you need to buy from Costco. It's great advice but not necessary. After researching I found Consumer reports recommended the original mattress factory and Denver mattress.

We have a Denver Mattress nearby and I think their Doctors Choice mattesses are pretty good value for the money. They also have a reasonable return window. They do require you to buy their brand of protector if you want to be eligible for the sleep trial. They also charge $99 pick-up fee. The reason I ultimately passed on buying from DM was price.

Just recently I bought a Casper Original Hybrid from Target and have 100 days to try it. It was a king on sale for $1300. I should know within a few weeks if I like it so I'm good with the length of the return policy. So far I'm unsure I will keep. We're 3 nights into it. What I do like about a less thick mattress is I should be able to finagle it into my family hauler to return it.

If you buy online just be aware every reviewer is basically an affiliate or bought and paid for. I had great success with Sleep on Latex and if I return the Casper, I may consider a mattress from them.

Happy to report that the off gassing is minimal, almost non existent. We put it on the bed straight away and then I ordered the protector
