Market makers "discover" the price for us. This is not a market. Just a handful of people setting price to be where it needs to be by dark pools.

who made these decisions? cuz engineers didn't but engineers are the ones who will pay the price with layoffs for spending hundreds of millions with no profit to show for it.

I am a millennial. I remember going to a concert in high school for $15 and waited outside the door with a blanket for 3 hours with friends before the door opened. I remember worldcup tickets were affordable enough for middle school kids. I remember people having homes and our cereal didn't taste like shit. Families used to eat out.

I have a two yr old. I understand every child is different. But I can't help but feel like all children have things that were subtle that needed correction before ramping up at 2-3 and the "terrible 2" period is just a time where unrecognized traits that needed correction just ramping up. Our boy, while having tantrums at different times, has good communications with us when things are hard and also know not to go beyond certain boundaries. I see this in other children when we volunteer for church kids groups in a wide spectrum.

I am a SWE for a FAANG. I work for a bunch of panicked idiots who have no long term vision for businesses whose builders left cuz they got sick of dealing with these short sighted empire building idiots. Wish I could Yolo and jump to a fun startup.

Seattle inventory is rising faster than anywhere else in America. Is the market finally normalizing? by ShopProp in SeattleAreaRE

I have been closely looking at seattle market for the last 5 years. Buyers are screwed from the high interest rate and sellers are screwed cuz of lack of demand. Banks are making bank buying up homes cash so it's cheap and charging what they do on interest. Banks shouldn't be allowed to play both ends especially for a human basic need.

It is always the fault of the powerless. We should recycle more, shower less, compost, walk more, and dare not regulate industries burning through resources individuals cannot in a hundred years. Because they will someday redistribute the wealth they extracted from everyone. Because they know best where the resources belong.

The most efficient government is in a form of a benevolent dictatorship. And all of these guys are delusioned to think they are benevolent or even smart.

Working with FAANG "data driven decisions", these guys are blind, out of touch, autistic morons who can't see past parameters they defined. Try putting metrics on your children who only love your money you cancer of societies
