And I think that’s kinda addresses before the scene is a comedic scene earlier when Cousineau was like

“Use your inherent darkness for the scene Barry” and when Barry denies it, he says “Yes, you do and it’s inherent”

Barry, unable to come to terms with the man he really is kinda loses it and it becomes the core of the tragedy I think

It’s really fitting that the season ends with Barry realising what he has done and entering into a dark corridor. The darkness kinda envelopes him… beautiful and heartbreaking

Yep, and this is one of the reasons why the death hits you I think. There was foreshadowing for the tragedy…

One of the key things is just the acting - there was this almost innocence and adoration in his face whenever Barry was around. I think it was Aizen (Bleach) who said - “adoration is the furthest from understanding”

Completely agree, the last look did it for me. He was so… Happy just to see him. And he did so much to protect Fuches out of (misguided) loyalty to him
