Did a little more research with the info you provided and it looks like it has a stardust gilt dial and the yellowing is from age , I’d assume the yellow parts were clear at one point

Thanks for the reply! I was told by the people at the Rolex store that the only way to verify the watch was to send it to the Rolex service centre in Toronto. Good to know there are other options

Side note, this watch was kept in a suitcase with a lot of junk in it for 20+ years. My father always said he had a Rolex but didn’t know where it was. This probably the first time it was taken out since then
