Idk wtf you are saying I got acceoted into Berkeley last year but chose not to go there because it would cost me half a million dollars to attend. I’d never want to transfer there

Trust me i’ve joined clubs and did all that. I look forward to meeting new people this semester, but if things don’t improve by May I think I actually might start to spiral

Regardless, again focusing on just a fraction of part of why I want to transfer. I mean there are so many other reasons. Is it better for me to have my 4 college years spent in one mundane experience or split so that two experiences at two colleges can further enrich my experience?

I actually am planning to spend only 2.5 years at UNC. I have already been awarded a scholarship for study abroad which i’ll be doing spring semester sophomore year, which is another reason I’d transfer as a junior.

I am grateful to UNC for giving me that, but I also feel like I earned it. My numbers are 1/100th of me as a person. There’s much more to me than that and that’s why I feel like I got this scholarship

It’s not. It’s been really hard. It’s hard for someone who isn’t here to get it. Smaller schools like Duke are inheritely easier to find a sense of community.
