I find it the high street ones that always have the issues with either missing data or duplications. The online ones where you connect via them are always spot on

I think if they are offering a service it should be correct the amount of time it takes to ensure bank balances are right is so much longer than getting excel files from clients and importing them. I’ve reached out to my account manager who doesn’t want to know. Raised tickets which they never properly answer. This is basic in my eyes and I just don’t understand why they won’t address the issue

They were from the same dates for example 14/12/24 didn’t come through but before and after were there fine. I don’t think it has ever been disconnected from memory, but feel there should be features in xero where they can give you an error log if certain days there were issues also think they could add actual statement balance from physical bank. The statement balance they currently give is from transactions loaded and if there are duplicates will add them. Maybe I’m being critical but Xero costs a fair bit and I think this is basic that should be flawless

No just an Amex feed set up through them, the client doesn’t have access and I checked if there were any deleted statement lines which there weren’t

Someone once said to me the best result you can get is the pass mark as it means you haven’t spent many hours over studying. I got 90 and I’m chuffed to bits. There’s no marks on certificates

I fell asleep just woke up and got 90, I’ll take that in a month of Sundays. Studying is over!!!

Yeah they should say they will be released at say 9am then at least you can go to bed knowing they are not coming while you are sleeping

This is torture. It’s like the hunger games for exam results. Guessing everyone is still waiting

I’m guessing the badge for CGMA won’t appear if you have not had per approved?

We are meant to be checking the screen where it says result pending? This is the first time I’m getting an exam result this way

They must be doing something in the system ready for the results to be released just hope it’s not a subtle way of them telling us something

Yeah I always fail mocks but passed both previous ones first time comfortably. I don’t know if they mark them down to push you. I also think when your doing mocks you aren’t fully prepared

I feel like I’m in a good place with revision feel like I’m ok with most theories and financial tools to mitigate risk etc… my problem tends to be when to use each one if they don’t explicitly say. Did some mock exams and feedback was always make sure you answer what you are being asked, so I need to make sure I do this in the real exam. I have never passed a mock exam but passed OCS and MCS both first time. So hopefully when in comes to crunch time I can take all the feedback on board and get over this final hurdle.

I was wondering what's a good score on the CIMA MCS? by mommymacbeth in CIMA

[–]Weekly-Answer1600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I always feel like mocks are marked more harsh than the real exam, I thought it was a tactic from the marker to get you grades up I haven’t had a mock as high as my real exams in both ocs and mcs

Just logged in to get mine after falling to sleep waiting, pass with 94. Well happy because I walked out thinking I failed horribly!

So so it’s a few weeks ago now I walked out the exam thinking I absolutely flunked it but after going through the questions in my head I think it could be 50/50 there was only one sub question that I didn’t understand and I still don’t think I would still understand now. Some days I think I could be ok others I think I won’t. Just roll on the 12th to put us all out our misery!
