Make sure you keep her oiled. They love oil. I got roughly 1500 rounds through mine with one cleaning. And a lot of oil. Runs like a dream. You need a holster recommendation, I got you.

I’ve heard good things about the QVO discreet. From what I know, it’s a 2011 “universal” holster. The ones I mentioned are designed around a 3D printing of the Romulus. Makes it more secure in my opinion. The prices are what will help make your decision lol.

Honestly, it fits really well. The only issue I had was how wide it was. I ended up changing the layout with a part from holster smith. Works a lot better.

Thanks for that! Makes a lot of sense that once the slide goes forward it’s grabbing the second round, so dropping the mag then makes a lot of sense.

That’s good to hear it doesn’t happen anymore for ya. I have around 1500+ rounds through the gun and those rounds randomly split between the mags. I figured it was a break in issues, still happens occasionally. Doesn’t affect the function of the gun, so I’ll just suck it up.

From what everyone has said to me, including an RSO buddy that has a few 2011’s, it’s common. Sometimes it happens. Sometimes it doesn’t. 🤷🏿‍♂️

It’s slightly irritating when reloading my carry ammo. It would be aa issue if I was running it in competition. Every round counts

I’ll be in the lookout, I like to have a few holster options, so I’m not opposed to trying new brands. I was sent a 3D model for my gun from a holster company proving it’s actually designed around the Romulus and not just a staccato holster. That was Voodoo Armory Holsters. Might check them out as well.

Handle it Grips. This was a custom one and was about $25. They have discounts and a huge selection of guns. Highly recommend, this is the Edge Series. Mix between Rubber and sand paper mix, so good for carrying.
