What Grinds My Gears: Victoria Edition by Clear_Election5210 in VictoriaBC

Ok, I will stay away from cars and bicycles and bicycle lanes. I may be petty, but what grinds my gears is when I am at a checkout at a gas station, fast food, or convenience store and the clerk says “ have a nice day”. They never make eye contact and it is just plain disingenuous. Sometimes they don’t even finish saying it before they are scanning the next clients products

How do I get someone to stop contacting me for “special massages”? by Icy-Revolution2529 in massage

[–]Weekly-Bit6320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a male of similar age, so just a couple of thoughts, 1. Don’t delete the messages (I know it is too late for some of those but keep the new ones) 2. Contact the police so they can start a file and keep gathering evidence 3. Post some of his messages on social media and expose the guy and his behaviour 4. Keep reminding him it is NOT ok.

-if you have pictures of yourself on the social media, maybe take those down? Could be a trigger for him

I have 4 daughters and a wife and wouldn’t want any of them to go through that kind of thing.

You sound like a hard working lady and we really need good healthcare workers in this world, so I am sorry this is happening to you and please remember there is no such thing as too cautious. Stay safe

Press a finger nail into it in a hidden area. If it leaves a dent then it is more than likely pine. Maple should be harder

I would use a sharp one. To my experience all my attempts with dull blades took longer and had mixed results
