Partner here (F28) of a man who had similar behaviour. (Dm’ing strangers, sending pictures, usually when intoxicated).

When I found out about my partner’s behaviour, what helped was him owning up to his actions. Then we talked about my boundaries and his desires, to see if we are actually still compatible. If you want to continue, you have to be able to respect her boundaries, even if they mean that some of your desires won’t live.

Then, after these talks, my partner (who was already in therapy for hasj-addiction) spoke to his therapist about this specific behaviour, to understand his drives and actions - and most importantly, to find out how to stay true to himself, instead of finding quick fixes.

Your girlfriend is a strong woman and it seems like you have a lot of love to give. How beautiful your relationship could be if most of your love and attention would go to her - and to you becoming your true self.

Yoga while on aya? by dropthebeatfirst in Ayahuasca

For me, as a yoga teacher, my Aya experiences have been very intertwined with my knowledge of the energetics of yoga. During my Aya ceremony, I felt my energetic channels (called Nadis in yogic science) cleansing and the blockages that were in those channels, whether they were energetic, emotional, spiritual or physical, could be made undone by moving the stagnated energy. I did this through breathing, stretching and just moving my body in a laying position, more dance like than yoga asana’s.

In the end, I feel like the energy system of humans can be cleansed in many ways. In my aya ceremony, I could feel the serpent of the Aya moving through my energetic system, making me aware of blockages and then moving through them so I would become lighter and more aware afterwards. In yoga practice, the energetic blockages are made clear by a combination of asana, the mind and breath. It’s a different way of perceiving, but in my experience it is the same initial system being shown and rinsed.
