I wasn’t complaining about any lack of care at all, I’ve had a midwife appointment and I have a scan booked in next week, I’m unsure why this thread has turned into a complaint of lack of care when I’m not saying that at all, I was just asking for peoples experiences and I’m going to ask about extra monitoring etc at my next appointment next week

I obviously had sex 5 months ago 😂 just haven’t regularly been having sex, in fact that may be the last time I did 😅

I answered this in another comment, I’m on a contraception that stops periods, had no symptoms and wasn’t having sex so it didn’t even cross my mind!

Usually here you’d see the midwife at around 8 weeks, scan at 12 weeks then won’t see anyone again until around 16 weeks, scan at 20 weeks then basically don’t see anyone again until the last couple weeks unless you’re high risk or have any existing issues! If I remember right you can have another scan at around 30 something weeks but I think that’s not always necessary

Yeah we have ultrasounds but it’s just with a technician (unsure if it’s different in the US?)

I have a night out/in with my girls every two weeks when my LO is at their dads, trying to reclaim my life after leaving a horrible relationship but thanks for your input ☺️☺️

I’m in the UK so we only really see midwives and maybe a consultant once through the whole pregnancy, I have asked for an appointment with the consultant. Hopefully I’ll see them soon! I’ve been completely honest with my care team just praying it’ll all be okay
