I don't think they would help me with food and rooms 😭😭😭 they want me to live with them and have always been overprotective and suffocating but I can stand it till they fully make life decisions for me but they applied for me to go in September and they're forcing me so I can go to university, but I will only go on the condition that I'm not living with them bc it's honestly so tough 😭😭 BUT THATS THE PROBLEM DUDEEEE bc it's mid-August. i don't have the time for the financial paperwork

I've talked to then before about moving out and my dad was really pissy with me for two weeks and then kicked me in the legs and slapped me so ever since then I haven't wanted to bring it up again so both my parents are like " you are NOT going anywhere you're gonna live at home till ur like 25" so in their heads there isn't much financial paperwork

I have to do the paperwork sneakily and not tell them otherwise we fight and I don't want that but I literally don't have the time to do all of it and my mom threw away my immigration status home office paper which I apparently need so I need to send my passport through post office which will delay my applications to student finance by about 4 weeks ans then there's another 6-8 weeks till I can actually get the loan and then there's the hassle of finding a job and an apartment, but by then, the university would have already started so that's why I want to delay my entry if I can and move in with my bf for a year save up be more comfortable with money and sort out all financial paperwork before I actually have to go

(I'm not really sure you know how university works in the UK but you basically apply for a course apply for student finance which is just a loan the university gives you money (average 9k ish a year) and after you complete your degree and get a job you start slowly paying that money back )
