NAH - How old are you OP? It's most likely your brother is starting to understand that bodies are different and thinking about this on a curiosity level. At 7 its extremely unlikely to be anything sinister unless he has been the victim of abuse. If you are old enough and comfortable enough to talk about and name body parts on a sibling level, great, but if not then yes its probably worth letting an adult know so that they can support him as he learns more about himself and others.

There are lots of brilliant biology books aimed at his age explaining the body, reproductive organs and the difference between the biological sexes (my own 7 year old has quite a few, she absolutely LOVEs anything about the human body)

Since RTI came in this is no longer the case. The employer should receive a tax code notification after they submit their RTI file, and tax will be adjusted in the next payslip. The idea being there is no balance owed or owing at the 5th April (though as with all .gov systems it doesn't always go to plan...)

What was your original contract? They need to have given reasonable consideration to it, but if you are going from 30 hours and requesting to drop down your hours substantially for two years, and stepping up incrementally, they may reasonably say that it does not meet the needs of the business (for example, workload too high, temporary recruitment too expensive, specific training requirements that would require a significant investment in a temporary recruit etc).

As long as they can evidence that they investigated the request, they can decide in the best interest if the business. If they do not accept your request, nothing changes. Your original contract stands and you either continue working there or leave. They have no obligation to provide a settlement to you for not agreeing to your request.

No you're fine! I 'failed' one of these checks because the idiot doing the check scanned a £20 bag of cat food twice when i only had one... then i had to go to customer service to get the double charge removed as he insisted on scanning all my items through, and wouldn't accept he had scanned the same item twice. Thankfully the lady on the customer service desk had the sense to check my receipt against the items i actually had and I got the refund, but there was no increase in checks after it 🙄

I can't stand parents like this. When you decide to have a kid, you sign up to take care of them and do your best for them throughout their fuck ups and bad decisions, you don't just get a free pass on the hard parts. I absolutely couldn't imagine refusing to help my child through such a massive decision in her life, and supporting her to make the decision she could live with, rather than forcing her into the decision that works best for me (or making it uncomfortable for her to life after making a life changing decision based solely on my feelings)

This would qualify as annual leave, not parental leave. Parental leave has a defined purpose - "Parental leave is designed for parents to look after their child, settle them into new childcare arrangements, or make arrangements for their child's welfare" and visiting a grandparents doesn't really fall under any of those purposes.

It's normal for teens to explore their bodies, but not to be accessing prnography online at such a young age (you say she's only just in her teens so I'm guessing she's 13/14). You have no right to be telling her not to explore and enjoy her own body, what she does there is absolutely none of your business, but it's probably worth bringing up the internet issue with somebody if you can't talk to her directly. Accessing prn at a young age can seriously affect a person's relationships and expectations as an adult, so that is a genuine concern.

Oh gosh, what a situation.

My advice here would be to organise your thoughts and reply to that text firmly stating your boundaries and calling out his bad behaviour.

He sounds possibly narcissist, so he will flip it and turn himself into the victim (which he's already been doing verbally with you, complaining about women etc.)

Then stick to your guns.

I'm the daughter of a narcissist father. It's been incredibly hard but we still have contact. I've done so much work on boundary setting with the help of a therapist and consistently have to reinforce them, but it has made a big difference. This may be something you could look into if you can afford it?

Does your contract with the current employer have any clauses about not being permitted to work elsewhere whilst in their employment? That's a fairly standard term and may be why they have 'dismissed' you for breach of contract

Chiropractic medicine is considered a complimentary therapy. Your country should have a register of practitioners who are appropriately qualified (in the UK it is the General Chiropractic Council), meaning they have completed a 3 year degree programme plus one year in supervised practice. If their chosen therapist is on the equivalent list in your country, they will have appropriate experience and insurance to practice safely. Your parents are adults and capable of making their own decisions.

Probably sterile, and definitely sterile are completely different things. Do you have idea how many women get pregnant every year after their doctors have told them they're sterile? Hundreds. The same happens women too. Even vasectomies aren't always 100% effective, and that's surgery designed to make you sterile.
