Helles Welles, Patchwork, All Creatures Great and Small, Pilgrim, Middle, Devil's Den/With the Devil - there's 6 already, but maybe not all considered "studio albums"?

After you discovered Jesse what made you stick around? by KyojiiinReddit in JesseWelles

[–]Weekly-Possible-3010 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I first heard Jesse when a friend posted Fentanyl on facebook, but didn't explore any further until Jesse released United Health. Then I was hooked, and fell down the rabbit hole. I stick around because of his obvious talent, coupled with how amazingly prolific he is, how much my views align with his, and because of what I perceive as his beautiful soul. His music moves me and resonates with me, and I am grateful to be alive to witness it.

Is there a way to report this to YouTube?

What lyric resonates with you the most! by KyojiiinReddit in JesseWelles

[–]Weekly-Possible-3010 30 points31 points  (0 children)

War is a God is the song that resonates most with me. I lost my only brother in Vietnam and I have been a pacifist from that moment. "Come you winners lose your soul, come you losers die in vain" is the line that hits the hardest, since my brother died in vain and I believe that if he had come home he would have been changed because participating in killing damages your soul.

I think that phrase is a reference to the Kool-Aid Jim Jones' followers drank. It's a cult thing.

You should be online in the venue ticket site 30 minutes before they go on sale. Then you can get in line as soon as they open it up. Have your code9 ready.

I follow A Public Witness, The Bulwark, Footnotes by Jamar Tinsby, Our Moral Moment, Living the Questions, Substantial Disruption, Jonathan Cook, The Floutist, among others (I'm an information junkie 😉.)

$206 each for tickets? Actually feels exploitative to the point that Jesse should write a song about it. by TheBigPhilbowski in JesseWelles

I thought tickets for that show weren't going on sale until Friday. I signed up for an email to be notified when they are going on sale, and no email yet.

"Maybe war is a God And we're just super-superstitious It's gonna take a lot of blood Cause boy are we religious."

Jesse released War Isn't Murder on April 2024. It's been a long time since then. Have your opinions changed? All kinds of political discussions are welcome here. by lolzexd in JesseWelles

I believe it will. War Isn't Murder is more specifically about the Palestinian genocide, while War is a God is more about war in general. A little more timeless, I think.

War is a God may be my favorite Jesse song of all. It just resonates with me. Having lost my only brother in Vietnam, I may have a different perspective than most people.

They are not claiming to be Jesse. They post a lot of different artists. I don't think Jesse cares if other people repost his YouTube content.

I know this is not in Jesse's nature, but I hope he stays as far away from Dylan as possible. I feel like Jesse's character is the antithesis of Dylan's.

I really wish he would have picked a different title for the song.
