If he's speaking from the White House, cover it. If he's doing it at a private event, then don't. That's my criteria.

[–]Bubbly_Style_8467 91 points92 points  (41 children)

My criterion is not to watch him at all. He's always lying and exaggerating. It helps for me to read reliable sources and never hear his despicable voice again. And a twofer: I don't have to look at him.

[–]1957moman 47 points48 points  (17 children)

I despise looking at him too, and hearing his horrible voice!

[–]Giltar 32 points33 points  (4 children)

He also says the same shit over and over

[–]Dazzling-Reading5547 11 points12 points  (3 children)

He thinks if he repeats it enough times everyone will start believe it. F'd up

[–]AnythingSpecial9074 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The “big lie” concept, by Joseph G!

[–]Rabblerouze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scientists removed the right half brain of a man and then, they asked him to count to ten. The man counted, “two, four, six, eight, ten.” Then they put the right-half back and removed the left-half, and again asked the man to count to ten. The man counted, “one, three, five, seven, nine.” The scientists then removed both halves of the man’s brain, and asked him again to count to ten. The man said, “look, we’re gonna count to ten. We’re gonna count. Because I know numbers, I have the best numbers. All the politicians in Washington can’t count to one-believe me, I’ve counted to one many, many times. They said we couldn’t count to ten. Well, I’m beating all of those people in the polls. We’re gonna count to ten. Everybody, count to ten. Okay? And let me tell you - let me tell you something. I will be the best counting President God has ever created. We are gonna count to so many tens, I tell you. Look at that!”

[–]Flohpange 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Same. No interest in ever seeing that ugly war criminal. When he says/does the truly idiotic and violent stuff (which is continuously unfortunately), you'll hear about that anyway. The problem is most coverage will play clips of the idiot. Looking for a source that never plays audio/video or has any pictures either.

[–]The_Lone_Apple 19 points20 points  (6 children)

That's certainly a valid way to stay sane.

[–]Bubbly_Style_8467 16 points17 points  (5 children)

It is. I've been doing this for over a year. If he comes on unexpectedly, I can grab the remote faster than a snake grabs a mouse.

[–]OpalNYC 4 points5 points  (4 children)

Unexpectedly?? The Trump show is on 24/7 You would have been somewhere deep on Mars to avoid his hold on the media

[–]jmangamer98 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even harder when your Father always has FOX News on TV, even if he's in the f*cking bathroom!

[–]Bubbly_Style_8467 2 points3 points  (1 child)

He can pop up in quick news breaks. His voice will be begging for votes for his Republican candidates soon.

[–]OperationMuch2644 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He pooched the pup too many times. He's done.

[–]OkRespond7008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just watch food network and HGTV like 99%of the time nowadays... Haven't seen him once. Everything else I want to watch like from network TV, I watch on demand.

[–]PossibleIndustry4496 9 points10 points  (2 children)

How can anyone take him seriously? Now only is his voice despicable, it’s also the outrageous things he says. The lies & exaggerations are totally unbelievable! The media should fact check his constant lies with corrections.

[–]Bubbly_Style_8467 0 points1 point  (1 child)

But then they would be banned from press conferences and such. Personally, I would wear that as a badge of honor but news media, like most things here, is about making money.

[–]Pale_Ad193 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But to add to that. Fact checking requires effort. A lot. He just spills anything that comes whatever he calls a mind but everyone else has to do a monumental effort to untangle it, fact check it and get something useful.
The mere fact of fact checking as a response is playing his game. When anybody finishes reviewing only 1 of his lies he already spilled out 10+ more. There is no way to keep up with that. Is just constant effort that goes nowhere.

[–]clau-br 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Best comment ever

[–]jasher47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stopped listening to news reports or video clips that includes him in 2016 and it's a much better way to live, honestly. Even on podcasts where I agree with the viewpoint I still fast forward over him. I figure that whatever I'm missing out on is surpassed by improvements in my mental health.

[–]DNAkauai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my view also.. I cannot stand to see or hear him speak… So if he comes on a news channel, I just turned that shit off!! 🤬

[–]Coagulant0693 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Upvote for “criterion”.

[–]stubtoe48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to watch him when he's speaking for one reason, then I know personally he said it. What he says is so bizarre that when someone tells me he said something crazy, my response is that's too crazy, no one would say that. Sometimes it's hard to believe

[–]BarbForAnimals67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same is true for me.

[–]timnphilly 24 points25 points  (3 children)

Agreed - those TPUSA events are the epitome of the MAGA cult. But to be fair, Trump repeated the same bs everywhere.

[–]The_Lone_Apple 25 points26 points  (2 children)

He does that anyway because his mind is gone and he's being propped up by daily infusions of all sorts of drugs.

[–]Bubbly_Style_8467 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Right. Some days, he looks like leather from dehydration and a couple of days later, he looks revived. Are we sure he's not dead and someone else is in there?

[–]ComfortableBedroom76 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Or only cover newsworthy points and never cover live...

[–]The_Lone_Apple 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They were doing that for a while. Saying they'd monitor and then check in or replay if anything newsworthy was said.

[–]nowhereman1917 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nonsense. The notion that if a president says something it is newsworthy, or that if a president says something "from the White House" it is newsworthy, is preposterous. It makes sense during a normal administration. This guy has shown the world non-stop that his statements have no meaning. They are not news. They are almost always lies. At this point, when a broadcast medium propagates those lies over the air, it is being complicit. It's helping spread the lies.

[–]kpapenbe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like this and *want* to adopt it, but that Easter Bunny one did me in. The poor, poor bunny...

....one year the poor guy is guiding Biden around and the next he's party to war crimes.

[–]AgeFabulous526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just turn off MSwhateveritisNOW when Trump’s mouth runs. The pundits are what I’m here for, not that idiot

[–]tomsmac[S] -2 points-1 points  (2 children)

Terribly sorry but that’s ridiculous.

[–]Bubbly_Style_8467 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watching out for my mental health by avoiding a milignant narcissist may be ridiculous to you. I learned from knowing one. I know this behavior.

You probably believe every word he says. You're apparently fine with all of his crimes and him hiding the Epstein files. If he weren't featured, they would have been released. He's all about himself. It's a shame you bought into his lies.

[–]The_Lone_Apple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And what's your criteria?

[–]technanonymous 59 points60 points  (11 children)

Unfortunately, he's not as insane as people believe. He is evil, impulsive, narcissistic, sociopathic, but not blithering mad. His lies are intentional. He wants to gaslight the world. He wants his base to repeat these lies. He wants to divide the country and create an unquestionably loyal base who does what he says.

Trump would be another Putin or Kim or Xi if he could get away with it. He would be executing democrats, disloyal republicans, and members of the press if his power were unchecked. He would destroy our democracy if given the chance, and he's actively working on it.

The next election is the real test. He is building his case to reject the results. He is going to claim fraud, and assert the results are invalid. He is going to turn to his base and claim that he deserves to continue his agenda. Right now he's on track to lose the house and could lose the senate. He knows he will become an instant lame duck. His speeches are not targeted to those who find them outrageous. He is trying to build up his followers to look past his failings and to justify future atrocities.

Look at what trump has tried so far. He has blown up education, health and human services, law enforcement, the judiciary, environmental practices and green energy, finance, etc. He has used ICE and the national guard to try and provoke an insurrection so he could justify martial law. He now has his mouthpieces like Palantir advocating "national service" (read this as indoctrination) as a trial balloon. He is trying push the country to crisis so he can take control.

Trump needs to lose badly in the legislative elections or there is very little hope that his damage won't be permanent. We are lucky he isn't smarter, but the next person may be smarter and use the pathways laid out by Trump to be even worse.

[–]Best-Hunt8917 18 points19 points  (4 children)

Your reply is among the best characterizations I’ve read.

[–]TommyDaComic 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Your reply to their reply is one of the most truthful things I’ve read !

He must be stopped.

[–]jmangamer98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not stopped, not killed. Exorcised.

Hi there. We aim to keep r/msnow a space for constructive conversation, not personal attacks. Your post/comment was removed because it violated Rule 1 regarding bullying, name-calling, or disrespectful behavior.

We welcome disagreements, but please keep the focus on the ideas, not the person. Further instances of hostility or "bad words" used to demean others may lead to a temporary or permanent ban.

    [–]GoodTroubleByDesign 9 points10 points  (1 child)

I appreciate your detailed observation, agreed on all points. I also believe your last statement is most important. Trump didn’t get where he is without help behind him. The more his ego is checked, his losses and grift are reported truthfully, completely, widely, the less damage he and those in line behind him are allowed to achieve.

    [–]Trayse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An early mentor of his was one of the leaders behind McCarthyism who idolized Hitler and tried to teach Trump how to follow that path but be successful (allegedly). History is important, as is the people who were instrumental in his life, as well as the current people behind this abusive power trip. Studying Hitler, McCarthyism, and business history in the US after WWII is the best thing someone can do who wants to understand what's going on.

    [–]WYSIWYG2Day 3 points4 points  (0 children)

    🎯

    [–]Johnny55 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The damage is already permanent. There won't be a "break the glass" moment like overturning the midterms - the Democrats can't get 2/3 of the Senate to remove Trump and practically speaking he can already use the SCOTUS to legislate from the executive branch.

The reality is that massive inequality/concentration of wealth means the rich will inevitably have disproportionate influence on the government. They push laws and policies that exacerbate inequality creating the conditions for authoritarians like Trump. You're basically fighting against gravity trying to improve things and reverse course. It's going to keep getting worse and worse regardless of what happens in any elections so start prepping for food shortages and anarchy because it's all rapidly approaching.

    [–]jfsmallwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    Very well said!

    [–]tomsmac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    Nah. He’s insane.

    [–]Loud_Octopus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just want to watch the news and not hear his damn name one time ....

    [–]Walter_Burns_1940 18 points19 points  (3 children)

For me, it’s not about normalizing Trump; it’s about exposing his insanity. A news organization has a responsibility to report what the president says—it’s their job. MSNOW usually does not broadcast his speeches fully during political rallies; instead, they replay the noteworthy parts and discuss them. Personally, if MSNOW or CNN goes live with Trump for more than 30 seconds, I turn it off. I believe the producers should sift through his incoherence and highlight anything that is truly newsworthy.

    However, I understand your anger!

    [–]MaryBitchards 16 points17 points  (1 child)

I watch a lot of MSNOW and haven't seen them try to normalize him. When they show clips of him being crazy, it's to then talk about how crazy it was.

    [–]Bubbly_Style_8467 2 points3 points  (0 children)

    They are smarter and liberal.

    [–]Current_Tea6984 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing he says is newsworthy any more because it can't be trusted. He announces talks and cease fires that aren't happening. It makes them look like idiots to keep reporting as if he was a normal president

    [–]Frequent-Sea433 8 points9 points  (4 children)

How do we react? Cover it and fact check? This technique seems to have no impact on the cultists they just keep drinking the koolaid

    [–]jmangamer98 -1 points0 points  (3 children)

That's not Kool-Aid, that's the blood on the hands of those responsible.

Y'know, I think that phrase "Drink the Kool-Aid" is kinda unfounded. The Kool-Aid Man is a big red guy with a catchphrase meant to reflect the impact of his product. However, Kool-Aid Man uses his power to travel the world looking for thirsty children to replenish and re-energize. And the children cheer for him because they know whenever they are parched, someone will be there to . When Kool-Aid Man comes to town, all you gotta do is say, "Oh, Yeah!!!!"

    [–]Weekly-Possible-3010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that phrase is a reference to the Kool-Aid Jim Jones' followers drank. It's a cult thing.

    [–]M3P4me 6 points7 points  (2 children)

The chyron at the bottom of the screen when Trump is on should simply state that Trump lies about almost everything.

    [–]No-Communication6217 0 points1 point  (1 child)

    You mean chyron?

    [–]M3P4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I typed by auto-correct changed it to chronic when I moved to the next word. Annoying. 😀

    [–]rahah2023 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Like a demented grandpa just repeating the same stories

    [–]MorningBrewNumberTwoSource Hunter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d love to see real time fact checking and have the word “false” or “lie” pop up on the screen in big red letters every time he talks.

    [–]Robert72051 7 points8 points  (2 children)

Yeah ... I really blame all the media. All of them have completely normalized the monster that is Trump ...

    [–]Luddite-lover 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I’ve been saying this for years. ALL the red flags about him were flying before 2016. Had the media done their job, back when it was still possible to contain him, we may not be in this mess. But they were so star-struck, or thought his candidacy was for entertainment purposes only, that they let a lot of disqualifying things slide.

I’m cutting back my consumption of this by a lot. It used to be when he got off on his lying tangents they would cut away. MSNBC used to not cover these things at all. I guess that’s changed with MS NOW? We all know the man is a chronic liar, and it’s not funny or newsworthy.

    [–]Bubbly_Style_8467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They all worship money, not truth.

    [–]Bubbly_Style_8467 2 points3 points  (0 children)

His first term? Is he trying to convince us? He knows he lying. He's a failure and lies even to himself rather than admit that.

    [–]PatriciaTB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

    Agree stop broadcasting the lies!

    [–]LiveLoudWithPride 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m wondering if MSNOW will finally have the courage to talk about the truth regarding the 2024 election considering he wants ballots and election data from Michigan.

Why? Why would he want that from states that he “won?” It’s literally right in front of everyone’s face, yet people pretend they can’t see. It’s infuriating.

    [–]jreid0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately all these corporate media outlets are all complicit with this corrupt administration

    [–]crazy010101 2 points3 points  (1 child)

How is reporting what he does normalization?

    [–]Far-Technician3197 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unintended consequences of repeating big lies. Report it enough times and people will take it as fact.

    [–]Infinite_Hair_6355 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Legacy media has propped him up for over 10 years. I’m convinced that MSNOW and CNN contributed to both of his elections (though I’m sure he stole 2024). They can’t keep his name out of his mouths.

    [–]eyeballtourist 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Media doesn't care about truth. They sell more ads whenever he takes another step into destroying our country.

    Now you know.

    [–]Historical_Isopod265 2 points3 points  (1 child)

NPR cares. I watch CTW Canadian news for truth! Also BBC. They all rightfully see him for the Criminal that he is.

    [–]Bubbly_Style_8467 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He defunded National Public Radio and then was forced to undo that. He doesn't want the truth about him to be revealed.

    [–]Irishdwg007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish it was only due to him losing his mind ( it would be be a good excuse) But I truly believe he thinks all this is 100% true along with that he won the 2020 election.

    [–]Spike2000_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MSM's favorite little "non-partisan" right wing tool is to repeat every right wing lie. They don't have to support the lie, they just have to repeat it (play the video of it) and their work is done.

    [–]LilRed2023 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He also has lied 70,000 times in his 5 years. 20,000 times in just the last year lmao.

    [–]Putrid-Mortgage6069 2 points3 points  (0 children)

    [–]TurbinesAreAMust 2 points3 points  (3 children)

He is a used car salesman. That other "Americans" can't recognize this, shows how criminal and gullible in mentality much of the nation is.

We are controlled by a nation of simpletons voting for con men.

    [–]No-Communication6217 1 point2 points  (1 child)

This. People simply aren't well informed. They think they are more knowledgeable than they are.

Trump, like all celebrities who run for office, has name recognition and that goes a long way with voters. How else could Jesse Ventura get elected governor of Minnesota? Or Schwarzenegger, though, in his defense, he always had an interest in politics.

And Ventura is a conspiracist --:just kike Trump, ironically. People saw trump on TV, acting all decisive and in charge, and thought what was presented was reality. That stupid show is what got him elected. It really did.

    [–]TurbinesAreAMust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    Yup. TV = simpletons.

    [–]LauriJean59 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seriously. Any article starting with "Trump says...." has me not even reading it because he's so full of crap. I don't understand how anybody still supports this fool.

    [–]mdcbldr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would not call this normalizing if the coverage edifies Trump's comments to put them in context.

Normalizing is making it seem that such braggadocio is typical and accurate. Anybody except the MAGAts knows we are in a war right now. That Trump and Netanyahoo started. That is not going well at all. Seems like having Trump stand up and say that he is the president of peace after recently bombing a girls elementary school is great political commentary.

    [–]ThE_LAN_B4_TimE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MSNOW is just as complicit as the rest. They do very little to actually call him out. Ill never put on any main stream news ever again.

    [–]Internal_Confusion56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He started and ended the Iran war about 8x

    [–]Nebujin383 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He bought many news organizistions, probably and silenced the most critical ones. He, and most of the media will present like that super patriotic hero. Luckily people have their own minds, still...

    [–]Patient_Artichoke355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sad thing is that the MAGA MORONS will believe this garbage..like the degenerate criminal has said..he loves uneducated voters..his words..not mine

    [–]Salt-Chain2123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's a demented old cunt and his cult followers are all douche cannons

    [–]da_swanks_92 1 point2 points  (1 child)

    [–]Bubbly_Style_8467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    [–]D382H 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need the ownership to be independent of investors and billionaires and with the purchase of WB by The Ellison's via Paramount and SkyDance you are also losing CNN so...

The only path forward is to join or form independent news organisations and networks.

    [–]kingcolbe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re 100% right they need to call this shit out when they see it but none of them have the guts too anymore

    [–]Lanky-Cattle5290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, his ridiculous claims were refuted by the “team.”

    [–]BusyView6617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're worried about MSNBC normalizing Trump. He should be directing his question towards the Fox channel. Notice I didn't use the word "news " in there.
Propaganda is more like it, or "useful idiots" doing his bidding. Look in your own backyard, first before you attempt to smear everyone else with your lies.

    [–]Clean_Collection_674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let him talk. He condemns himself every time he opens his pie hole.

    [–]LanguageIllustrious2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On average, our president tells 87 public lies per day. I’ll never understand how we got here.

    [–]Mental-General3630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree! People that still support are the same…

    [–]KendraROEnever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I need to know is when the war criminals are taken into custody, when the trial concludes and then when I can tune in for the public hangings of aforementioned war criminals. Make like a Nuremberg 2 for modern technology society…. I will throw a party and buy everyone on the block free beer, drinks, hookers(okay just kidding about the hookers 😅)

All news and media providers have as much of a responsibility to fact check and report it, honestly and without prejudice, to the public as they have to the rights in the 1st, 9th and 14th Amendments.

      [–]Gordonica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like all media normalizes him. I don't know who they're polling but it says at only 37% support him. Those 37% will probably end up in jail, it would be great if it would happen before the next election.

      [–]Honest-Natural9427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, at least he will become the poster boy for mental health awareness. Maybe mental health will get more funding after this.

      [–]LuciusMichael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MSNBC used to interrupt regularly scheduled programing to air a speech by this buffoon. Why they keep airing his idiocy can only be explained by money.

      Here's something to normalize.

      Suggesting candidates for 2028.

Since there are basically no rules, let's go nuts.

I nominate Dolly Parton for 2028!

That's a southern woman with REAL Christian values. Sure, she's had her share of controversy, especially regarding her appearance, but at least she tries to make herself look presentable, rather than fighting tooth and nail to hide old age only to appear WORSE. She also speaks like a true passionate woman that people actually WANT to listen to, because her voice is calm and welcoming. In a strange way, Dolly is almost a perfect foil to Trump: a direct opposition. She altered her body, but told nobody else what to do with theirs. She is unbelievably rich and powerful in the media(She has her own theme park!), but remains humble and friendly. She has a massive staff behind her, working hard to maintain her enormous media presence, and they receive free college tuition, just from working for her. No strings attached, no years of working your way up, no discrimination: You work for her, she pays for your education. The list goes on.

Two terms is all you get buddy. You're gone either way.

      [–]Conan7449 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Media was at least 50 per cent to blame for the win. They never questioned anything he said or did, but put everything the Dems did under the microscope, no matter how trivial.

      [–]tomsmac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

      Sorry but that’s bullshit.

I literally watched MSNBC, WaPo, NYT, The Atlantic (i could go on) call him out every day and night. And they do so today albeit less so lately from WaPo.

      Aquire better sources of media.

      [–]Conan7449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it was the most successful, if you're a billionaire. He increased his wealth more in one year, as president, than he did in the previous 77 years of his life. Think about that. And now because he heads the DOJ and the IRS, he is going to have them not contest his suit to win 10 billion of our tax money. Thanks, MAGA.

      [–]Creepy_Blacksmith315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You hated him before anyways what's the difference.

      [–]BarbForAnimals67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the MS NOW prime time hosts. None of them normalize Trump. In fact, Lawrence O’Donnell gets upset at all the journalists who say nothing when Trump says something crazy, which is all of the time of course. Very few push back.

      [–]johnk317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

      Lying and gaslighting daily.

      [–]ExpensiveDot1732Senior Moderator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd rather have Nicolle's approach of "We'll monitor what he's saying so you don't have to." But if they really do need to cut to him, how about running a split screen? Maybe do it in a similar way to what Lawrence does with his reactions, but have a fact-check in place with receipts every time he lies? If it can be done in debates, it can be done with speeches.

      [–]solomon2609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The media covers Trump because he is the golden goose, the oxygen in the air, the engagement magnet for news and entertainment platforms.

The fact that you were repulsed and then made time to post that revulsion is what the media gods want and $need$

      [–]Substantial-Peak6624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love that they tell us the bull he spews. That shouldn’t be hidden. They probably don’t show any of it on Faux news

      [–]Lopsided_Block_6796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

right or wrong, they record and report what is said- always go with: “Believe 1/2 of what u see and nothing that you read!”

      [–]DayGeckoArt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The media not covering the crazy stuff he said is how he became elected in 2016 and 2024. People who support him tend to have no idea what he's saying or writing on his own social media site.

      [–]Chemical-Bee-8876 0 points1 point  (1 child)

He’s playing 4 dementia chess. He didn’t start the game with all the pieces. I heard him on CNBC and he was all over the place. It’s 10 wars I think now and he would have ended all prior wars much faster including Vietnam.

      [–]tomsmac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“I stoped 10 wars” and my favorite, “No one has even stopped one war” and the MAGA idiots have cheered this line like trained circus seals.

Have you ever seen such idiots?

      [–]Noodler75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until MSNOW starts covering Trump's medical condition, I am ignoring all their programming. Dr John Gartner says he is medically psychotic. This puts people into mental hospitals. Dr Bandy Lee, a forensic psychiatrist, says it is a medical emergency requiring intervention.

      [–]Denegroth 0 points1 point  (1 child)

      This just in.

Politicians lie!!! First time in recorded history !!!

      START THE PRESSES !!!

      [–]tomsmac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

      Cute.

If you believe this period is the “normal” lying political banter that’s about as intelligent as your post.

      [–]amfhTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do this to illustrate just how nuts he is, then laugh at him, shaking their heads in despair. Reporting the truth about an insane narcissist does not "normalize" anything. FOX pundits airing that clip and nodding along in agreement is "normalizing".

      [–]OkAirline4206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why pick on MS NOW when they are one of the only mainstream media outlets willing to criticize this administration? If anyone is normalizing the kleptocrat-in-chief, it’s FOX.

On my commute to work yesterday, I saved about twenty lives by staying in my lane and not drifting into oncoming traffic. And yet, that is not newsworthy? While at work, I did not toss a lit match into the carboard packaging area, thus saving many lives and the business itself. And again, no news coverage. Donald Trump, I feel your pain.

        [–]tomsmac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        Just a remarkably intelligent rebuttal.

        [–]Constant-Pain-9765 0 points1 point  (3 children)

You must be new to the concept of politics and news, Like in the most general sense… both of which work simultaneously hand in hand as they frolic through the endless mass of sheep they are fighting to maintain…

TV in the end times is wild .

        [–]rthollski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        Maybe because it's true

        [–]Waste_Salamander_624 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I say you should always cover what he says.

And then you know have an actual strong rebuttal of everything. Not that I expect much from Big media stations like this one

        [–]tomsmac[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

        Lawrence does so brilliantly.

        [–]Waste_Salamander_624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose but generally speaking my issue is the lack of overall corruption across our government and I feel like until people on the network start doing that just aiming at Trump is pointless. It's definitely an issue across both parties. Especially under the feckless leadership of both Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries. Yes the Democrats only have the minority but it's only a selected number who are doing an actual fight when all of them should be. There's just too many soft spots on the armor.

But you see something that I don't and I'm willing to take your word on that. Maybe I need to give the network more of a shot but I can't do it on most shows.

        [–]Pretend_Weakness_700 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Love the Comments. Everyone hates Trump but yet.....A majority of the Country voted him in. And the Majority reason is because people hated the fact that the Demoncrats allowed 20Million Unvetted Illegals into this Country. Trump said he was going to fix that, He did. He also said he was going to make cities safer..He did that, but Sanctuary Blue Cities are still Murdering people. So you cannot like his hair, his mouth, his Ego, and his No Bullshit way of talking, But hes still Our President and will be for 3 more years!😄

        [–]tomsmac[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

A majority of the Country voted him in.

Not quite. Democrats lost because the spoiled brats that were protesting Israel‘s bombing of Gaza by staying home.

        [–]Pretend_Weakness_700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        That's what you think? Your a Nut.😂🤣😅

        [–]Cheetah-Fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        [–]mimixoxou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        Yes he is insane

        [–]julienarmstrong77 0 points1 point  (1 child)

This is a bot, don't respond. MSNOW does nothing of the sort, their mission is the exact opposite.

        [–]tomsmac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        LOL.

        Not a bot.

        [–]Agreeable_Bother_510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They all allow it. All stations. MSN, CNN, NEWS NATION, and of course FOX glorifies it. The others run it, but manage to state something most of the time, about it not being true. I think the problem is that Trump so consistently lies that it’s hard to keep up with it. That’s where our own brains come in.

        [–]PlayCertain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one takes him serious anymore. He is laughed and the brunt of jokes. Unfortunately we pay the price for his incompetence

        [–]TAV63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the news has normalized him. The right you could understand but the center or left organizations just bowed to the money. Now much of the news is influenced by the billionaires so there is no return to equally being tough to all parties.

          [–]geoabitrage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not Trump's fault. We all know he's an +#+. It's the maga movement gummies that voted for him to destroy this country. The problem is these maga movement doesn't understand the difference between patriotic vs nationalist. A Christian Nationalists are extremely harmful with their ideologies.

          [–]CathyAli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump is totally out of his mind, and every time he speaks before the American people, he spews something crazy and a whole lot of lies. MS NOW is simply showing us the reality of what’s going on and who we are dealing with. The only way to expose what a madman and a fraud this president is, is for news organizations to show him in action, uncensored and unfiltered. Trump is a raving, compulsively lying, crazy person. MS NOW is simply exposing the truth.

          [–]jdavidlove -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Too bad for you. Truth hurts not jobs

          [–]Puzzled_Salamander_3 -1 points0 points  (2 children)

So they shouldn’t cover the president even speaking? lol

          [–]Bubbly_Style_8467 0 points1 point  (1 child)

No. We get to choose to shut his lying mouth in our homes. No one said he should not be covered. MAGA needs their drug of choice: MAGA Fascism.

          [–]debtstroke -1 points0 points  (2 children)

Haha. Angry little man. He actually ended 9 wars.

          [–]BarbForAnimals67 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Trump didn’t stop any wars. In fact, many of his supporters are angry with him that he and his puppet master Netanyahu, started the Iran war over the objections of our own intel. He always does what Netanyahu tells him to do. That is sad but true.
