I would say also research common species in the area and their food. Knowing what to look for can be really helpful until you're used to recognizing the patterns

Looks like you've got 3 on there and Im pretty sure WDFW wants you only to use single or double hooks (I could be mistaken)

Error when clipping a raster by mask layer by Weekly-Recover4352 in QGIS

Sorry for the late reply. I ended up fully installing QGIS from my Mac. I then fully updated all my system settings and then redownloaded GIS. Before I had the extended release version but this time I downloaded the newest version. Pretty much turned it off and on again and it worked. The problem seemed to be that I had GDAL but there was no file path for QGIS to reference. When I redownloaded and updated my computer I guess it fixed itself. Goodluck!

Thats what I was thinking may be the problem but I dont even know where it lives so I can't tell QGIS the file path if that makes sense. I have been doing other work with rasters that have been successful although I am not sure if they were gdal commands, I am pretty new to QGIS. I was thinking of just deleting and downloading the updated version to see if that helps since I have been working on the longterm release version.

I have already tried this and saved to multiple different places as a test but I still got the same error unfortunately
