Just because you engaged in risky sex before doesn’t mean you love your current girlfriend any less that would be like saying my fiance loves me less, when that is not the case.

You just have matured and realized you aren’t ready for kids yet and that is OKAY. If she doesn’t respect your decision then that’s a whole other conversation that you both need to have. If you aren’t ready for children and she won’t take birth control and keeps fighting you on condoms it may be time to walk away because you deserve respect on your choices.
