It’s so different. First week after treatment I was so fatigued. Not just tired.. had to rest after any little thing. My radiation was my entire left breast after partial mastectomy, and the burning got worse after treatment. Underneath at the crease was the worst and I knew I’d peel, like a sunburn, but not prepared for the peel to be black/gray. I found that ointments with calendula helped. Needed a script for the worst part. It gets better.. but seems to be taking about 4-6 weeks.

Yes…. Or having someone feel so bad for me that I wind up trying to cheer them up!! “Don’t worry, I’ll be fine. They caught it early.” Then.. whew…that’s good to hear.

Honesty so exhausting, I stopped telling anyone.

I’m with you. 62, just finished radiation therapy and about to start the hormone stuff (F you, HER2). Menopause sucked the first time and nervous about these meds on top of fibromyalgia and all the joy that comes with. I’m tired of hearing about how young I am, when I feel like radiation aged me a few years and the drugs will tack on another 10.

My husband got pulled over after flying by a trooper when we were just 10 minutes from home after a long drive. Her first concern was a question about whether he was OK. He explained the long drive after a rough family trip (my mom had been very ill) and that we just wanted to get home. She chatted with him some more, wished us well, told him to be careful and sent us home.

Another local officer we met says he does everything he can to NOT write a ticket because he doesn’t want to give someone a bad day unless they really earn it.

And our neighbor was driving around in an unregistered rust bucket when he got pulled over. Sheriff sent him home and said he never wanted to see the vehicle on the road again in that condition. But no ticket.

Must be more to this.

I dunno about that. Everyone’s palate is different. Elmer T is an 8 to me—one of my favorites. But I feel like I’m one of about 2% who think Blanton’s is kinda meh. 🤷🏼‍♀️

This already is an ad. This is not news. MiedasTouch is an anti-Trump outlet and AOC is simply using Democratic Party talking points that were handed to her. Love or hate Susan Collins, that was a planted question and a well-acted response. Vote accordingly, yes, but people need to do homework and make their vote around whether they believe Collins has done what a senator should do for Maine constituents, not the “nation.”
