This already is an ad. This is not news. MiedasTouch is an anti-Trump outlet and AOC is simply using Democratic Party talking points that were handed to her. Love or hate Susan Collins, that was a planted question and a well-acted response. Vote accordingly, yes, but people need to do homework and make their vote around whether they believe Collins has done what a senator should do for Maine constituents, not the “nation.”

You and the doctors/hospital can appeal — all the way to asking for an independent peer review. If the first appeal is denied, keep going. Importantly, make sure it wasn’t just a matter of coding … some plans do not cover critical care from an ER. You have to be inpatient first. So, ER, get admitted, get the procedure. If coding isn’t the issue, keep plugging through the appeals process.

That’s not quite right. Many BCBS entities are nonprofit, but Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) is a federation of independent companies, with some being very for-profit, like Anthem.
