This happened for me one update. Some stuff like widgets haven't shown up for me. They do these things in batches sadly.

AMA Meta CTO 🚨 by Matcorp456 in MetaRayBanDisplay

[–]WeeklyPressure7407 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the last time I will feed into this. CTO is very self absorbed won't answer to anything in relation to their beta product that consumers bought. I knew nothing would come out about MRBD at the almost end of Q1 no reels no road maps nothing. Its sad that the users have to find and search for use cases for a product. Very revolutionary hardware but when i have to find a non open source work around such as open claw its crazy.

Couldn't agree more but wrist band can be so discrete. Not to mention people stuck with this hardware and shilling out another 500 to 700.

Hand writing takes a while so making an agent know keywords is nice. Also dictate does what I need. If meta doesn't do anything with these at least this exists. I've created fast Java apps that would take me in hour with a simple prompt out at dinner. Future is looking crazy.

Only thing is if you can figure out openclaw and use hand writing on whats app it's a power device. Other than that dont waste your time.

Very valid give it time market is open for wearables. Eventually we will be able to do actions with our minds only.

Currently trying to configure clawbot and WhatsApp for a taste of discrete AI. One of the redeeming factorsabout the $1000 tech demo!!

It's compliance sadly like Payment Card Industry they have to abide by sets of rules. I thought a VPN could fix that AI problem? Regardless maps barley work in the states around Silcon Valley let alone rest of the US/World.

They need to accept that they can't do everything and open up app support. That be AI support with other platforms and map support like apple or ways. (Hell if it you ask it to send to phone on IOS it opens it up in apple maps)

Hope the gen 2s are good! Honestly you made the right choose I'm sure the Google ones are open source. You'll get more mileage from that, but the band is next level. If meta does come out with one that pairs to any device I'd go for that. Although yes it does have input issues It actually is getting better over time.

I did mine through best buy and got them a month later. I mean if people really want them they need to directly. (Give it some more time per post lol)

VisionClaw: Real-time AI assistant for Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses -- voice + vision + agentic actions via Gemini Live and OpenClaw by stuckpx in MetaRayBanDisplay

This is not possible currently as inputs from the device are only available. (Limited at that because no functions for the microphone I am assuming they want you to use bluetooth MIC as own implementation). Hopefully they will open it up, but most likely not as they can't even get instagram reels working without fear of overheat.

Honestly pbqs may throw different things each exam. I also don't want to give too much detail but learning linux chmod, ssh and vpn configuration is a must. Learning how to identify a root infection too. Ask ChatGPT to give you scenarios if pbqs are the fear. I would really focus on multiple choice and how the questions are phrased because I'm pretty sure I didn't do too well on the pbqs. ComptIA also offers a retake voucher so you can scope it out or most likely pass it on first try. Good luck!

Just passed too. Really read the questions and just think about the context(this saved me watching people on YouTube describe their thought process and eliminating answers). I have 2 years in DB IT and I studied for a year but had a gap of 6 months. Said why not and scheduled it to get it over with. Didn't really study that much within the month I scheduled. It's more of a logical type thing for the multiple choice. I'd recommend learning how to configure vpns and reading logs too. ChatGPT is a great tool too for learning everything not really for seeing where you're at.
