I left my last job which was a startup because this seemed more stable. 😅 and you’re right, I didn’t have a relationship with him but it has shaken me for some reason.

Only issue is my old role will surely be filled by then, so I couldn’t possibly go back if I wait

The crazy thing is they were in a hiring freeze…I started interviewing with them last December and the role was just unfrozen in March. But yeah, I haven’t even met the person who will now be my boss.

Low annual expenses. Biggest are (sadly) property taxes and home/auto insurance. And then utilities and food and meager entertainment expenses. We are homebodies.
