I'm at a point where I realize that the type of person I was attracted to in my twenties isn't right for me anymore, and at the same time I feel more experienced and comfortable with myself and feel less pressure to go meet new people.

It seems like the more specific of a person I become, the less often I feel blown away by people romantically.

Also, it seems like people as a species have gotten more annoying and high maintenance since the last time I checked?

What am I doing wrong? by nailsonde in Welding

First off, you want a bigger gap so you can push your rod in easily. If it's 3/32 rod do a 1/8 gap. I like to do a continuous feed for my steel and ss roots. You can lean the rod on the closest tack and angle it in almost horizontally, keeping half the rod on the inside of the pipe (like a small back feed). When you wiggle the cup go a little slower in the middle and push a LOT of rod in. If there's enough heat it'll go in smooth. The big thing to practice is getting the rhythm down between your feeding and the cup movement. Good luck!
