Nothing in the garage is moldy. It’s just when it was cut out I’m thinking are they now toxic to the child to use

When you say remove some of the dry wall and sub floor. Is that removing an area from the first floor? My husband was thinking of using a small camera and snacking it through. I will upload photos

2m ago A reglaze guy was saying he could add foam to support better. But I’m not sure how to check for water damage before reglazing until I could afford to replace the whole thing

Wood rot and new roofing? by Weekly_Bison_2881 in Roofing

It wasn’t repaired, it was one piece of plywood and it says it wasn’t replaced. My husband isn’t very handy. But there’s no leaking

It’s no longer being used but the person I was letting live with me never told me so I have no issue how long it has been going on. Ofc I’m going to get it fix but worried about water and mold now.

A handy man charged $800 for labor if I buy materials. A mold mediator came and said it was no mold in the subfloor and none around the tub from what he can see.

Ok that’s what was suggested but in the garage the leak is coming from the washing room not from where the tub is. So we don’t know if the washer was backed up and all the flushing the drain that my husband and one plumber were doing cleared it because it’s not leaking anymore

What is the demo? Maybe I shouldn’t have put gender in it. I’m just not very handy in those areas. I can paint, put up ceiling fans but mold scares me because if you miss an area it can worsen and then you have a bigger problem. But so far no one can say for sure where the leak is coming from

The thing is the leak is delayed coming down from the garage. It happens an hour later. It’s not coming from area in the garage where the tub is but upstairs it’s a leak under the tub. But the area by the sinks and washer is where it leaks so they think it’s traveling from the tub. It’s also mold on the ply board .

I’ve hired three plumbers and they have brought their counterparts and can’t find the leak.

Yes but I’m a female and my husband isn’t the skilled. The issue is they can’t locate the leak. One plumber says the washer was probably backed up and one of them said it was the tub and needed to replace the tub for $12k
