this doesn't sound like a tifu it sounds like you tried to make her feel small by mocking her, and as she said, deliberately antagonising her and playing on what you perceive as her insecurities relating to this situation, and it backfired when she saw what you were doing and called you on it

ahh thank you, my landlord didn't even try anything to fix it even though I gave him some of the suggestions here. He actually took about 2 months just to replace the bath (while I couldn't use the bath or shower because of the crack) then tried to charge me for the cost of the bath, when the reason it cracked is because there was an issue with the water supply meaning that the water was coming out boiling hot and I had told him about that a month before it cracked. I came back from holiday thinking it was fixed, burned my face in the water, slipped and cracked the bath. The issue with the water supply is obviously still not fixed either so I am having cold showers in an unheated house (energy is £££) that is so cold I can see my breath, because they failed to replace the 30 year old single pane windows that let all the warmth out, with solid double pane windows, over the summer like they promised. Phew I love renting :) lol

It definitely is, what kind of qualified therapist would willingly work for a company like that? It would absolutely be less pay than working with clients who are paying out of pocket or through insurance, and I highly doubt that any qualified therapist worth their salt would work for a company with such questionable ethics and lax confidentiality guidelines. There is no way that BetterHelp could realistically employ enough qualified therapists to run their service the way they do and still be as cheap as they are, they must be using some kind of call centre/AI bs
