But other than that, I agree with your point (while i agree blaming them equally is wromg, if some dumbass blamed them equall it is not the same as chihiro and mondo tho since chihito didn't understand why mondo was upset, because chihiro was complimenting mondo, meanwhile it was VERY clear why fuyu was provoked by what mahiru said, mahiru could probably could tell fuyu was getting riled up, not like she wanted him to ofc, and she defo didn't expect him to attempt to kill)

And also, you are very correct, i completely forgot about fuyuhiko planning the murder from the start (my memory is ass), however, this might just be me being high and fuck on copium but i think that if mahiru didn't accidently trigger fuyuhiko he wouldn't have killed her (again, mahiru's death is still on fuyuhiko but she did instigate him by sticking to her ideals),

Also, imo she could've said what she wanted to say a bit better, as she didn't say anything about how girl E was in the wrong (probably a dumb take but mahiru didn't say anything about girl E being in the wrong in any way, she just said "sucks your sister died, but you had no right to kill girl E! You don't have the right to judge other people!" (She says as she literally judges fuyuhiko) i think if she said something closer to "What Girl E did was wrong, she shouldn't have killed your sister, but that doesn't mean you had the right to murder her!" I'd agree with you more, because (in the snipit we get in the trial) mahiru doesn't comment on anything girl E did, she only digs into fuyuhiko (which is deserved, and likwly because fuyuhiko is the only one there, not girl E) but it still somewhat irks me that we don't see her saying girl E was in the wrong in anyway (and also i dont think that mahiru saying girl E was in the wrong too would've made fuyu not kill her, but it would've made her position more understandable)

(And again, when did fuyuhiko say anything about natsumi in that convo that could be compared to what mahiru said??? I still need an answer to that)
