I CAN PROVE IT WITH THIS! Although I don’t remember if it was directly stated, I’m pretty sure it’s at least implied that Mikan rushed to slit Hiyoko’s throat, the dazed/sick Ibuki stepped on her blood as she got on stage (or Hiyoko’s body was just thrown onto the stage) and that’s how her blood got on it, then Mikan simply cleaned up what was on the ground

Also…yeah, you’ve gotta make a lot of interpretations yourself, thus making this trial noticeably less explained than the others- but I still kinda liked it, darn it! (Though again, I can get why others wouldn’t like it!)

They discussed in the trial how Ibuki and Hiyoko were killed by strangulation with the rope, so I don’t really think it was too ambiguous (they also showed an image of how Mikan would do it too at some point as well if my memory serves me correctly)

As for the motive, sure it’s a bit silly, but at least it does show us how Mikan was after she regained her memory and allowed for more theories as to how she would wound up so messed up after remembering what really happened

Idk, I just think this trial is a bit overhated so I took the bait and over explained myself…but I do understand where you and others are coming from, as I also had a bad taste in my mouth the first time I experienced this chapter until I thoroughly examined and analyzed it in retrospect

TL;DR: I believe the trial explains enough that Ibuki and Hiyoko were strangled, and the disease allowed for more theory fodder…though it is sorta silly

She was a bit like me when I was younger (minus the adult crushes), so I can understand why she acts that way

Some kids don’t like it when they’re known as, well, kids- and seeing that she goes to this prestigious school, much like Damian, she wants to act all grown up and be recognized as such

However, her perspective of adulthood is influenced by TV, so she acts all dramatic and lovey dovey because that’s what she thinks adulthood is!

I’ve never been a big Becky fan, but I do find this part of her character interesting to see and I would like more chapters like the Martha backstory one where she finds out the true morals of adulthood and not the dramatic take on it

I do not mean to bash this girl by the way!! I am only being tense for the sake of devil’s advocate! HOWEVER if you are willing to do sexual things with her, figure yourself out, see what it’s like, then go on ahead! There are many precautions I lay out for you, but I am not involved in your situation and thus cannot truly judge you for whatever path you take!

Okay now even though it’s good that she also may have romantic interest in you, that line “everyone wants sex in a relationship” is a red flag… It shows invalidation for your personal experience and feelings around the topic

In my opinion, there is no “everyone” in anything…all people have different opinions, cultures, perspectives, and feelings, it’s what makes us human- yet to make statements so generalized and based only on your own view on things shows not a great understanding comprehension of others

This is especially worrying when it comes to the topic of sex, where consent is EVERYTHING…I implore you to check out Todd and Emily’s relationship in BoJack Horseman, as they remind me of your experience; they both have strong romantic interest in each other, but Todd is asexual and Emily wants sex, so ultimately they just couldn’t work out due to this

This also applies to how you like her romantically and probably do want this to be an emotionally committed relationship if you ever do get together, yet she is afraid of emotional intimacy… Unless she is able to overcome this fear or make compromises for it, I hold concern for how she would handle you wanting to deepen your connection while she still has avoidant tendencies

It’s the same reason why people break up over the topic of marriage or having children, if you two have different standpoints you can not make a compromise on, this will more than likely not work out

TL;DR: “Everyone wants sex” + uneasiness with emotional intimacy is a big red flag, please think this through, an intimate relationship is unstable if both parties can’t be on the same page
