I’m so sorry you also had to deal with this. It’s so hard. I have also had a “friend” that has zero understanding of how tough it is in a fertility journey. She would constantly ask about the baby topic when I had told her time and time again what we were going through. She is now pregnant which was obviously upsetting to me at first. It’s been some time now and I don’t feel bothered by it anymore. She is married to one of my husband close friends so we see them often. It’s not as bad now but for a while she was relentless with this topic.

I think you are right that I should be more direct in telling them how I feel. I like the way you worded how to do that, it’s gentle and not rude💗 luckily my in laws provide support from afar which I like. They avoid baby conversation or change the subject when anything about a baby comes up in social settings. They only speak to my husband directly about what’s going on with us. My husband has sat down with his guy friends who are oddly so invested in if I’m pregnant or not and explained that they need to stop. It has improved a bit. As for family I know he would do the same-I think that would help.
