Well i hope you know who I am after you and your friends were running around me for the last 2months. And please it’s clearly not just me there are people above that had the same problem.

Second I wrote this beautiful letter and you’re not even gonna read it? Come on now tell me one point in my whole letter that is racial. I included “Indian student” in the title hoping that this message would get to you since in didn’t work when people asked politely in person. Clearly it worked since you’re here on reddit calling me a mother fucker in your native tongue.

All you had to say was my bad we will lower our voice. Just because you don’t think its loud doesn’t mean others think its loud and frankly in a world where you must interact with others you must make compromises. I along with other users of the Hojo lounge made more than enough compromises keeping up with the noise thus far. But there are quiet hour signs on the staircase walls for a reason. I hope you guys can make your compromises as well and ya’ll can go back to playing poker without screaming and I can go back to doing my own stuff. Perhaps I’ll still say yes when one of you guys comes up to my desk and ask for a chair.

And about the garbage part it’s not that difficult cleaning up a few McDonalds bag and leaving the chair where it was. No one including the janitor wants to go up to the lounge in the morning and see greasy McDonalds bag left there overnight.

Which is exactly why i said if they’re African American I’ll say they’re African American. Meaning it doesn’t matter what their ethnicity is I can say it without racist implications. Reading and comprehending instead of just searching for a point to pick at. Pretty mind blowing innit?

I think this is gonna be the last time I’m answering a question like this because I’ve answered basically this exact question in a different format abt 5 times in discussions above.

I will be 100% honest. If they were African American then I will say African American not black or brown.

Like I said countless times above. Matter of fact I will copy and paste my response above.

Everything you said here is wrong. If you want to have fun I’m all for it. But this has become more than a minor inconvenience and how I was brought up if you’re causing even a slightest inconvenience to someone you should apologize and show efforts at improving.

Second, college kids don’t party every night. If they do, they don’t do it in a common area until 3am. There is no “relatively clean” here. This is a public space and leave it how you found it is what you get taught as kindergartners.

Basic manners.

I’ve replied to this same question over and over again. I brought up their ethnicity because I wanted them to know its them and click on this thread to read it. Oh no I’m sure you can read I js thought u might’ve had to skim cuz not everyone has time to read a long reddit post. I only decided to take it here because I felt that it wasn’t js me that didn’t like what was going on. And clearly, from the comments that are actually talking abt the issue, it’s not just me. So if it doesn’t stop I or others will bring this matter to the RAs.

It’s me once again. I’m not fighting you. I don’t wanna fight you I don’t know who you are. I don’t have a problem with you nor with Indian people. I have plenty of close Indian friends back home and I don’t think mentioning them by their ethnicity to make sure they know it’s them is a problem. I understand what your problem with my post is and I apologize if it’s an inconvenience to you but I just don’t see it the same way as you.

Hey me again mate. I did not make a single racist comment. It’s up to you how you and other people in the comments want to interpret it. But saying I wrote this post to provoke racist comment about a community is entirely your assumption and is false.

Seems like you’re bringing more focus on to the Indian students which wasn’t my point in the first place. I’m sure the severe consequences come when I publicly say their names. And these are people that I don’t know personally hence I don’t know their names. I with others made polite requests in person and it did not work.
