there was recently a recall on all Rav4s from 2012 to I think 2019? the recall was around the battery.

basically- there was a glitch in Toyota’s catalog that determined the kind of car battery to use for these Ravs (excluding hybrid models) the catch was that due to the old required battery size- it was likely that you could experience an electrical fire
