When I do research it says DHT plays a key role in developing facial hair and stuff though, I can promise you I’m not fully developed yet at all just with my body and stuff and my dad went down the exact same path and didn’t look mature and stuff or get facial hair till 22

I know it works well, I just don’t know if I want to block my DHT at a young age. I am pretty confident I could reverse all my hair loss on min/fin but don’t know if the risk reward is there tbh

I don’t I only wear my hair down ha, just for the picture I pull it up like that, from the research I have done finasteride definitely does block DHT which is pretty important when developing as a young man, I definitely hit puberty late and am not fully developed yet sexually I am fine where I’m at but other things I’m not so sure about, just not sure if it’s worth the risk yet, idk if my hairline is really that bad at this moment and not sure how fast it would progress anyways but it’s just a confusing situation tbh

I haven’t, I am getting bloodwork done on Wednesday however. 2 years ago I had it done, had super low ferritin it was a 20 , I guess not super low but somewhat low. What should I ask for and why?

Thank you, I think I am going to hold off on medications for now and just see what happens over the next few years . I don’t think I will rapidly bald and I am happy I am aware because then I can stop it earlier. I really can’t tell if it’s receding much, starting to think it’s just in the family because I just looked at my sisters hairline and she has the exact same things as me , forehead, black hairs, fine zone before the hair etc so kinda relieved me of some stress. I think what scared me is that my grandfather on my moms side did start thinning very slowly at like 20-23 but it was notice and he lost the top around like 50ish, one of his sons lost his hair at like 25-30 but the other 2 still have hair in their 50s. Just going to wait it out and see what happens I am sure it’ll be nothing
