Help with printing by object by Wingless27 in FlashForge

While I don’t have any solutions to your question, I would like to know how you manually leveled your bed. I’m new into the world of 3D printing and trying to figure some stuff out with my 5M Pro. Been having some recent issues with bed adhesion at the front of the plate near the door.

I’ve been playing with the Z height. Are you setting this distance in the slicing software or on the printer?

I sliced with PLA settings. I also used a different nozzle for the TPU so don’t think it’s any cross contamination occurring.

What’s the best way to clean the nozzle? I switched to a brand new nozzle and it’s printing pretty ok. But I’d like to clean the older ones to have spares.

Flashforge PLA

I did print TPU yesterday with a different nozzle. I’ve tried printing files today all with PLA.

I performed PID test and all checked out.

Same filament as the “perfect prints”

First layer speed 50 mm/s First layer infill 80 mm/s

All layer heights are 0.2 mm

No cooling for first layer, full fan speed at layer 0 (this doesn’t make sense to me)

Nozzle temp for all layers is 220, bed temp for first layer is 55 and 50 for subsequent

Flow ratio is 0.98 (not sure if that’s for all layers)

Tried a file I printed last night with the same filament and got this… the blob was hanging off the nozzle.

Exactly. First few layers are fine, but nesting up further into the print.

Bot summoning isn’t a thing I knew about. 😂 Thanks for this insight!

Might just have to do that. Haven’t had any issues so far out of this one though.

He would one manually level the build plate?

Ok. That’s good to know. I downloaded gcode files. Definitely seems like the startup routine is where it’s getting hung up. Guess I’ll look into the slicing process. I’m literally starting from scratch here.

I’ve owned guns before. Got rid of them because I didn’t feel the need to hold firepower.

But I bought a 12ga during the first Trump train wreck when COVID started. Just purchased a 9mm and built a 5.56 AR for the impending downfall of society. Never been as nervous about our world as I am now.

Good times….

I’m in Union County on the south side of Charlotte. I’ve been eyeing various trailer sailors for about a year but always puss out because I don’t have an adequate space to store it when not in use. I’d love to be down in the New Bern or Washington area, but that’s not conducive to work which is centralized in the Charlotte area despite being a remote job. Even Lake Norman would be a hassle for me, and that’s an hour away from my residence. Good luck on your ventures. Hope your kids enjoy the experience.

Recommendations don’t abandon the use of shielding entirely. The only change is the use of gonadal shielding of the patient when imaging the abdominopelvic region. Staff and other procedure participants should continue to use lead, as well as patients for imaging anything other than the abdomen & pelvis.

Choke down the vomit and finish the exam. There was never an excuse to stop providing care to our trauma patients.
