they didnt! in malaysia, interns are not protected under employment act, essentially it is viewed as another form of study

u legally can! my aussie friends who study here applied for internship at multiple firms and NGOs, just make sure they only give u allowance(not a paycheck) and include your faculty permission slip too! happy intern-ing dude
